    Default Ignition switch replacement

    I need to replace ignition switch does anybody know how involved that is it won't shut off and the key came out but you can't get the key back in

    From the online parts catalog. Part # 710003598 Ignition Switch $259.99 USD

    There are detailed instructions in the service manual on how to remove and replace it. So I would recommend getting a service manual before tackling it yourself. It does not look too bad if you have good mechanical skills.

    Even if you replace the ignition switch yourself. You would still need to have it connected to BUDS (dealer) to have the new keys accepted by the ECM.

    If there is a problem. it's be covered under extended warranty.

    I got The ignition switch Took just a couple of hours to pull the old one out and put the new one in and trailer going over to my dealer and for 80 bucks he did the rest actually not a bad job
