    Default MOTORCYCLE TIRE REPAIR KIT

I have a complete StopNGo motorcycle tire kit for sale. This kit uses CO2 cartridges to inflate a tire after the flat is fixed. I have the complete kit plus 6 extra cartridges. Very small and compact for someone that doesn't want to carry a repair kit plus a tire inflator. The kit was $36 new plus $20 for the extra 6 cartridges. Will sell for $25 which includes priority shipping to lower 48. Can take PayPal.

    Default Tire Plug Kits

I can't speak from experience, but I have been told that tire plugs will not work with steel-belted tires because the movement of the "belts" will cut right through the plug. My understanding is that the only way to repair a steel-belted tire was to remove the tire from the rim and patch it from the inside. FWIW

I been plugging tires for years and works fine..Of coarse a tire patch is the way to go but when you are in a pinch and need to get going a tire plug works fine.

    Default Nice....

Quick sale I have a similar kit but uses the mushroom plugs which act like a patch from the inside. Have used them for years on cars and bikes alike. Never had an issue. If the hole is too large for one plug you need to patch from the inside or replace the tire but these will get you home or to the shop...

Well, you were told wrong. So, maybe you SHOULD speak only from experience, and not what you were told? Also, maybe consider not trolling a for sale thread?[emoji106]

Not polite to go on someones "FOR SALE" thread and bash the product if you don't know what you are talking about. Common Courtesy goe's a long way.

I wasn't bashing the sale or "trolling", I was simply passing on information that was given to me at a tire shop and at a motorcycle dealer. I have one of those kits myself that I would use to get home if needed, but I would not use it for a long-term solution. Maybe I should have stated that in my original reply, but I didn't believe that there were this many thin-skinned people on this site.

Thin skinned? It's more like common courtesy, and minding your own business. An item was for sale and sold, no reason for you to swoop in and take a crap on the thread, or to offer any input...Especially input that you "heard". That is trolling.
Now, be done and move on. The sale is done and the buyer and seller are happy with the outcome.
