I carry an AMT 45 DAO Backup in a Krydex strong side holster. Inside the waste band is too uncomfortable for me. The AMT is or was the smallest 45 auto made.

After looking at the specs: I'd say that it's a winner!
(When concealability is the primary focus: I carry my Seecamp LWS .32)

I had an XD .40 subcompact, loved that gun. But I have a bad hand, and had a serious problem working the slide, so now a friend of mine has a nice XD.
I also had a Taurus PLY-22, which broke every second magazine. Someone else's problem now.
I recently picked up a .40 Beretta PX-4 Storm compact, and a Ruger SR 22, surprisingly, they are close enough in size that they can share a Sneaky Pete set up for the 22. Heading to the range tomorrow to see how I do with them.
Oh, yeah, I also got a Magnum Colt 22, but it's staying home, it shoots rubber bands for when my grandson gets on my nerves.

Just bought 2 new handguns, I sold a Sig P238 to get a Glock G43 cause I was afraid in a panic I'd forget to find the safety. The Glock is a single stack 9mm, I carry it in a waist band holster, which is the most comfortable way to carry for me. The other was a 625 S&W 45 acp revolver, because I want to get back into bowling pin shooting. Gun sales have really dropped off with the new administration, so I'm doing my part to help out.625.JPGglock.JPG

they also made it that if you get approved, you need to go down to 1 police plaza to pick it up, and you have 24 hours after you buy the new gun, to bring it back into the city for inspection. so it is just not worth going through all that bull just to get another one

They're actively discouraging people from firearms ownership, with these tactics...

Nice when someone thinks outside the box and comes up with something cool.

Has anyone looked into the Rock Island TCM22? They have a 22/9mm pistol, interchangeable 22 and 9 barrels and recoil springs. From what I've seen, the 22 has a 2000 foot/second muzzle velocity with a 5 inch barrel.

I bought the Commander size one a few years ago. It's really fun to shoot, but being all steel and holding 17 rounds its pretty heavy to carry I didnt opt for the 9mm conversion.

    Default TCM .22

Impossible to carry concealed. Big and heavy!
I like my FN 5.7. Light, high capacity, shoots great. SOB, you never know I'm carrying. Fires a rifle Bullet.
Another favorite is my Bond Arms Texas Defender. Pocket shotgun. Nothing to conceal - right in the pocket!

I carry either an Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II in a Blackhawk IWB or a Glock 19 in an Alien Gear holster... depending on what I am wearing that day...

    Nice.

I want a 5.7 bad, but the cost is keeping me from pulling the trigger. Lol

Looks too big for a CCW. But I imagine SOB would be the best choice.

I've looked at that round: meh...
I've already got a K-Hornet in a 12" Contender barrel, and it's the most accurate CF round that I've ever shot...
For personal defense; something like it wouldn't be my first choice.
Low velocity, and large diameter bullets: That's what ends fights at close-range.

They make the XDs in a .45 model also. I just purchased the 9mm last friday and love it, but that .45 sure was a sweet shooting gun also.

I agree.. but I'd like the 5.7 as a short to medium range hunting pistol, as well as a side arm.

Liked my contender, but it is strictly a hunting weapon. Had one in 30-30 and 7x30 waters. Definitely more accurate than I am.

Um looking at the P938 for my next pistol. Love the size and 1911 style. Real easy to keep it in the pocket. $$$ is what keeps me from having one already.

The FN 5.7 is on my list. But I want to get the Dillon 650XL reloader before I go to the 5.7, that rounds gets expensive to shoot. But then again, could just carry a AR pistol.

    Default Stop!

    Stop it.
I don't need another gun. (The crackhead has left the neighborhood.)
You are making me gun thirsty!(?) If there is such a thing.
