ONE DOWN, ONE TO GO
Got my left hip replaced last Wednesday, and came home Friday afternoon. I am getting around pretty well, am able to negotiate stairs with a cane (I have no choice), and I am faithfully doing my PT. I'm pretty sore, but not in agonizing pain or anything like that. I have learned - the hard way - to take one pain pill before my PT, or I will sorely (Ha!) regret it. I am hoping to get the right hip done in about 6 weeks so that I will be able to get in some riding this season. I will say that I left the hospital in less pain than when I went into the hospital. I am considering this to be a big win.
