2014 RTL Canister pre-filter change at 28,000
Does anyone know the part number for this filter? Can't seem to find on parts breakdown. Getting ready to do 28,000 mile service which says to change the canister pre filter. Where is it located?

If its the fuel filter I believe its the right side of the bike. Doc Humprey had a video on replacing it.

I looked on Part Shark and see it. Part number: 709000524 or number 60 on the exploded view.http://www.partshark.com/oemparts/a/...80/fuel-system

When you do it, can you post up some photos? I'm going to be doing this service on mine before the riding season begins.

It is on the left side just in front of the sidecase. Remove the tupperware that connects the case and there it is. It is a breather filter box. Very easy.
Not the fuel filter video.

They are talking about the breather filter. Little square box above the rear peg, left side.

Yes, it's part of the emissions system according to my local dealer's service dept.

Just looked it up in Tech Spark. Left side behind the tank.
