I'm hoping this is my last road bike. I've replaced 3 bikes since 1991 with convertibles, and always went back. Maybe the fourth will take. I'm not a real motivated seller and will keep riding a little.

Congrats! I have considered getting rid of one of my spyders and the mustang and picking up another convertible. I checked out a nice used miata this past summer. After getting in (at 6'-2", 255 pounds), I couldn't hardly shut the door. Think I will have to go with something bigger. I am either considering a mustang, corvette, or possibly a nissan 350 or 370Z.

It looks like I was too optimistic regarding the expected price for my RTS. Bummer, such a great Spyder.

I'll expose it to the market for a while with a reduced price and see if that helps.

I have really enjoyed this site but at 76 years old, it's time to go. Started delivering papers on a motor scooter in 1955 and have had one or more motorcycles in the garage since 1966.

Having mentioned my age, I did walk 4 miles on the Appalachian Trail this past Thursday with my daughter and her friend to McAfee Knob close to Roanoke, VA and 4 miles back. They were gracious enough to go slowly for me.
