    Default 2009gs electrical plug on top of the front trunk

    What is the female plug on the top of the front trunk just to the right of the latch(as you sit on the bike) it has 6 wires going into it -it is black and green. It looks like it is a plug in for additional lights or ? It plugs into the top of the trunk but does not connect to anything. thanks Jim

    For them to plug into the computer to check things.

    you know BUDS we are always talking about..? That is his plug. Dealer use only..unless you havd the BUDS program like all laser alignment folks do or should have...
