    Default Elevated garage storage

Is there a prefered vendor for a garage elevated storage platform. I would like to get the second car out of the weather. I need no more than 4' of ground clearance.

    Default Garage Storage

A friend of ours installed a "Garage Gator" system that he got at Home Depot. His is actually electric and he installed two of them. One currently has 4 bicycles hanging from it and the second one looks like a metal platform and he has 6 large plastic storage containers full of the kid's athletic equipment, etc. The six containers are stacked 3 across on the bottom row with 3 more stacked on top of them. He installed it himself (and he is NOT that mechanical) back in the spring and the one with the bikes has been used A LOT. Go on the Home Depot site and enter "garage storage" and you'll see all the systems they offer - from the one I described to ones that utilize a pulley system and others that are stationary platforms. Hope this helps.

I'm trying to find some information about the company that produces (Or used to produce...) an elevated rack for storing snowmobiles and ATVs.
You drive teh sled or quad onto the ramp, and electric motors would lift it vertically into place. Once it was high enough, you'd just lock it down. You could then park a car under them...

Yes, that's the one. He has the one he uses for the kid's bikes and then has the one that has the "platform" on it that he stacks the plastic bins of their athletic equipment, etc. On the Garage Gator site, click on "Products" and then scroll down thru the items and you'll see the "platforms." Like I said, he installed them last spring and he is very pleased with them. They're easy to operate - his kids load and unload their own bikes with no problem.
