Took the plunge Saturday and traded in my RS for a new F3T. Clocked 200 miles on Sunday. Wow what a difference. I couldn't stop smiling!

He really never stopped smiling all 200 miles!! Just glad there aren't a lot of bugs out yet. We even had a secret poll on when he was finally going to sign the papers. Lol we were all wrong, he had it worse than any of us realized!! Congratulations again!!! Yaaaaahoooooo

Help me understand what the differences are. I have RS/GS #104 and the only bike that would get me off of it would be an F3. What does the T stand for?

Touring. The F3-T is effectively the same as an F3-S but it's got a windscreen, more frontal area wind protection, integrated saddlebags and air rear suspension. However it's not like the difference betwen a GS/RS and an RT, the F3-T handles and goes just like any of the F3s. There is very little wieght penalty on the touring F3 and owners report no discernible difference in drivng one to the non-touring model.
Just type F3-T and F3-S into a google image search to see the differences.

If memory serves me correctly, the T vs. the S is the addition of heated grips and cruise control.
Most if not all of the T models around here also have the radio but I am not sure if this is an option or part of the upgrade.
That is all I remember.

Both the S & the T have cruise control standard. The T & the S do not have heated grips. The Limited as heated grips.
The audio is an option T.

I love this thing. I added the Nightmare headlight covers today as my first purchase addition. I think the smoothspyder backrest will be next.

YES! Another convert
Dude, the F3 is miles above the RS/RS-S. I was definitely glad I traded mine in for my F3S!

Yeah sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I was more relating it in terms of performance and handling as the question seemed to be asking if the F3-T would be as sporty to ride as an F3-S.
As you say, more equipment on the T or LTD.
