I ran two sets of them and got 30,000 miles out of them. They were okay on handling I'm now running the Federal Formoza and I love them. The handling is great. They are showing no signs of wear with 15,000 miles and I would recommend them. They are available in the stock size. Bought one set on newegg.com and another for a customer on e-bay.

Are these the ones? Want to make sure they are the right size:
Aren't the Formozas 14's rather then the stock 15's???
Was all considering them

No, I have them in 15" and I like them much better than the Evo. Like the Evo, the Formoza is available in the OEM tire size for 15" rims

Just got my new federal's a couple days ago. I can't believe how great they are. I never realized how important the load carrying capability would be. Here they are in action.

What size? I am having a hard time finding 165/55r15
Anyone running the Federal 595 EVO 165/65R-15 on front. Likes or dislikes?

I am also running the EVO on our RT. I only have 10k on them and they have not shown any wear. They are a much harder compound, but as far as I can tell they haven't taken away from the ryde or the twisties at all.
When I first replaced the Kendras with them it was like ryding on glass it was so much smoother. They still are that way. Very good tire.
Ann,
tried finding the Formosa model, and ran out of patience...
Do you have a link to a site where I can learn a bit about them?
Or beter yet: a place to buy them?

E-BAY .... free shipping , and nobody asks any questions, very good prices ......... make sure you type in the size or you will be looking thru 10,000 tires ...... Mike
Bob, it is spelled with a Z not an S. That may be why you didn't find them. There is a pair for sale on EBay for $117. When I was looking for tires last fall the Evo was out of stock for 8 weeks and a spyder lover told me about the Formoza. I ordered them from newegg.com but a few months later a customer wanted them and they were listed on newegg as being out of stock from the manufacturer so I found them on eBay. Seems like now the Evo is readily available and the Formoza is scarce.

below is the Michelin that i will mount on the rear once the KUMHO has served it's purpose...

I use Kumho 155/60R15 on the front of my 2014 RTs. I put them on 1 year ago and now have well over 28,000 miles on them. They still look like new, have NO handling issues, and run very smooth. Just my 2 cents.

I had them mounted on some F3 rims and put on my 2014 RT. I absolutely love them. They are so smooth that my bike feels better than new. I think part of the reason is because my stock tires may have been way out of balance from the factory. The wet weather handling is great and it appears that they might last a good while. I only have about 3k miles on them, but they look like new. I went with the stock size, and I had to loosen the front fender to install them, so I am glad I didn't go up a size. Ordered them online, and had them mounted at a local tire place for $20 mount and balance each. Probably going to look for that same tire in a 14 for my 2012 RSS when the time comes.

I'm running the Evo's out front and am very satisfied with them. They wear well and handle just fine. They can be a little skittish if over inflated and cold. I've found they run best if inflated between 18-20 psi cold.
