I wouldn't want to put that sort of available grunt through the standard gearbox either. Just my twopence worth!
Yup! And since you'll have WAYYYYY.... too much power to put to the pavement effectively: Nanny won't let you ride any faster, than you do right now...

You'll need a gearbox too. The setup off the seadoo's is direct drive.

But you can very easily have too much, to get hooked-up and useful!

Agree, seems BRP would have to rebuild a platform to accommodate this beast of a motor, and what to do with all that energy and torque? Bigger fuel tank?

For everyday driving, that much power can be hard to control. Just with my stage one flash, the throttle has gotten a little touchy at times.

Very few marine engines use raw water cooling any more since it rusts out the engine from the inside out when used in salt water. But I think a water to water intercooler would be more efficient than an air to water one, so it's very likely a much larger cooling system would be needed.

I have a buddy that has Slingshot … He is a mechanic, and bought a HAAN Turbo …. At speed, in third gear He could spin the rear tire at will ….. He up-graded to an aftermarket wheel and rear Fork to house a 375 / 35 tire …. He can still break it loose at will …. just sayin …. Mike

i asked my dealer, HUNTER MOTORSPORTS of Hendersonvlle, NC if that engine could be installed in my 2019 F3... the Service Manager/Lead Technician, Lang, told me that the existing engine and the 300 HP engine are so different, that it would be literally impossible to make the change... of course, if you drop enuff USD, anything is possible...

Very content with my current F3S. That said, my wife already knows that any updates/upsizing in the power train department will have me shopping. Also if Honda EVER releases the NeoWing (but that topic has been covered extensively)

If they were to make some thing with a shaft drive, and make it handle as good as the spyder I think that would be good for the market! I would kick the tires a little! I mean after all, you know they watch this forum, and they get the letters and calls to fix these issues that we have and for the most part they shrug us off, it feels like. Don't take this the wrong way, I love my ride, but for the money for a new one, I would like to see some of the issues that we have, go away!!!! They made some great body style changes, that's great, the suspension could be looked at, get rid, or make that auto air ride, more dependable, or do away with it, I like a good shock system myself! Competition is a good thing, it keeps every one in the hunt, and sharp!!
