 stuff inside the gauge cover
There is something that appears to be oil vapor drops inside my instrument cluster lens. Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone have an idea what it might be? Does anyone have any know how to get in there and clean it?

Let's see....
There were those kind of problems way back and still occationally now. You could get replacement lenses and open the cluster up clean and dry and reasemble but not for the faint at heart. If I recall warranty covered them would be a good question for your dealer. Most of the past ones were moisture not oily but still visable...

2011 with 40000 miles. Doubtful any warranty will cover at this point. I guess I'll chust have to tear into it myself...........

It's.......
Anti-fog placed on the inside of the lens by whoever made the instrument cluster for BRP. Sometimes the excess anti-fog didn't get all removed and that's the story on why mine had the same issue. True or not, I don't know.

F3 Same Issue
I've got the same issue with the gauges on my F3. In the right hand side of the gauge cluster it appears there is a oil or water residue on the interior of the lens. Almost as if the seal had leaked, moisture had formed on the interior of the lens and then evaporated over time leaving a slight dirt/oily film residue. It appears the F3 gauges may have a means to separate the front lens cover... Anyone have expire nice opening the gauges ?? It's not terrible and is really only visible if the light catches it right but my OCD won't let me pass on it...

The gauge cluster lens is removable for cleaning and replaceable with new gasket for about $20. Part number 415129349.

Had the same issue on our 2015 Rt-s Warrenty replaced the lens.Don,t see why you can,t remove the Len,s and clean it

Has anyone done this on a 2014+ RTS/Limited?? The comments on the YouTube video state that there may be an added difficulty on these units due to the external fuel & temperature guages?

Service tech knew exactly what it was and fixed it. Took the lens out and cleaned it. However, you may not want it all removed, just remove the excess that's easily visible. The stuff is there for a reason. Mine is fairly clean now and I can only see a little bit of it when the bike is parked and sun is shining on at the right angle. Other than that it's not noticeable any more.

Didn't work for me. As soon as I put water on it and lightly began to daub with the tissue, the coating began to come off in little chunks. So, I tried rubbing to remove all of the coating. Didn't work. Now most of the lens is cloudy. It doesn't seem at the moment to be any more difficult to see the gauges, but it sure does look like crap.
Guess I'll just order a new lens and be done with it.
On a brighter note, the removal and re-install is a piece of cake.
New lens ordered from ServiceHonda.com. $17.00 + shipping.

Received the lens yesterday, replaced the old one today. Piece of cake.

I tried cleaning but tissue was getting stuck all over lens, now made it worse. Any advise of what to use, then how to keep it from fogging up. Or where I could just purchase a new one with the part number?

Buy a new one. I would give you a part number but you did not share the model and year of your Spyder. You can look it up for yourself in the parts catalog on BRPs' Spyder website.
