Zurich Warranty ?????
Who has the Zurich Warranty?
What does the Zurich Warranty Cover on the spyder?
Can you buy the Zurich Warranty before your B.E.S.T warranty expires?
How much does the Zurich Warranty cost?
If I take my spyder to any Can-Am dealership for repairs will the Zurich Warranty cover the repairs?
Is there a deductible?
My B.E.S.T warranty expires in Aug. 2019, and I have 2014 RTS-SE6.

I have the Zurich. My 2012 RTL had no warranty when I bought it and I wanted one. I talked to my dealer and he had no clue about anything other then BEST. I was in an ATV dealer not far away and on a whim I asked if he knew of anything. He told me about Zurich so I bought that. I don't remember the cost but I can look it up for you tomorrow. It is pretty extensive but of course doesn't cover wear items. My compressor burned out and it covered it.Yes there is a deductible $50 I don't know why a dealer wouldn't accept it. If it isn't one of the listed non warranted items Zurich will cover it. Anything not listed is covered.

I have the Zurich. It came with the Spyder when I bought it from private owner. Covered my compressor and bag. No deductible. Only issue I am having is figuring out how to get it in my name. Used the previous owners name it it went right through.

Anybody have a phone number or contact info for Zurich? I would like to look into extended warranties, but not before I read "the fine print".

I have an other question:
If I can not find a Warranty plan that will cover my . ( I don't want to sell because I have my spyder the way I like it).
Does anyone know if Zurich will take a bike that is 5 years or older?

Zurich
When we bought our 2012 RTL new from the dealer in Oct '12, they sold the Zurich extended warranty for after the factory. I do not recall the cost on it. There is a $50 deductible. The only problem we had with that was when we had to have to have ball joints replaced and found out that they require something like that to be preapproved/inspected before hand. They did not approve the claim after the fact but the dealer helped with the cost of the deal. Lesson learned, I guess it works the same way on cars, the adjuster goes around and approves things before parts are ordered and work is done. That is why some repairs take longer because the shop has to wait for the adjustor to come around.
When we bought the 2010 RTS for hubby a year ago, they offered the Zurich for that one as well. It was about $1000.00 for 3 years on that. I know it was more than that but they gave us better pricing. Dick had to have some work done on the compresser/fittings for his and it was just the $50 deductible on it.

I would like to know this to. My 2014 RT extended warranty expires Sept. 2018. With the repair cost on these things, I would like to have some added assurance that I will not have to eat the entire cost.
I also would like to know if I can possibly get an extended warranty on my 2012 RSS. The warranty has expired on it all together. Is it too late?

Deanna, what did you get from Zurich? It appears to me that we must go through an agent/broker to obtain information or a quote for an extended warrantee. By the way, I've found that to select the better warrantee you must have a printout of each policy's exclusions in front of you so you can decide which provider can give you the best warrantee for your needs.

You've got to shop-a-round.
Zurich will cover a 5 year old machine -- hubby had Zurich on a 2007 HD that was purchased in 2012. We bought the extended warranty when we purchased the bike. Purchased from a multi-brand used motorcycle "dealer" that had a contract with Zurich; they did a full bike inspection before sale and I am sure Zurich requires that on used machines (they also cover new). They are pretty sticky about what has to be pre-approved and it is best to call to confirm that they will or will not cover something without pre-approval (or have the dealer call). We had two expensive repairs on the Harley; one of which was fully covered (ECM) the other only partially (Starter was covered fully, but the "stretched" wire under the tank was not).
All the best .... Ann
