Alignment Question
Alignment Gurus,
I have read a lot about Spyder alignments in this forum. There are many opinions, techniques, and suppliers that have posted a lot of information here. I have been reviewing this info and have a question, hopefully the knowledgeable folks here can give an accurate answer.
From what I understand, the only adjustment for wheel alignment are the 2 adjustments on the steering arms on each side of the Spyder? I believe these adjustments have limited effect on caster and camber, but are designed specifically to change the toe in?
Or, are there other adjustments in the front steering mechanism as well?
In addition, there is no rear wheel alignment capability, except making certain the belt tracks correctly on the 2 sprockets, true?
Thanx in advance,
Spyderfish

The two tie rods or steering rods you mention adjust the toe in / toe out.
Technically, the Spyder does not have adjustments that correct camber, however, changes to the front spring preload, a change in front spring rate which effects ride height can alter the camber setting.
The caster setting is not adjustable.
The rear wheel alignment is based off tracking the belt on the two pulleys. There is an adjustment to align the engine, but is set at the factory and considered never to need adjustment.

You are right.....
That is the only adjustments....the thing is to get all three wheels tracking straight regardless of the frame and swingarm. So you get the rear wheel to align and then align the fronts to the rear. But your right that is it.....

Your Handlebar Riser?
There's No Way I can justify the triaxis handlebar mod but I hear you did something along the line of a handlebar riser? Is it still available or can I get one made from your specks? Thanks
