gas indicator bar graph
RTS 2016, unplugged temp and gas gauge indicators. Both bars showed up on screen, one yellow one orange. Tonight, I noticed when riding there is a temp indication yellow but not for gas indication orange. This morning both were working.

Is same colors as my 13STL, fyi learned my temp bars will change color to red the higher it gets
The fuel gauge color just always seem to disappear .
Fuel gauge does get replaced with a volume bar when adjusting level then swaps back Glad they made them look different or I would stay at full volume & an empty tank

OK I admit I am slow. Break it down for me. Cause I wasn't adjusting the sound. I was on the freeway.

Riding at sunset, screen went to nitetime orange around edges and gas bar graph usually orange disappeared. Graph is white no orange anywhere. What don't I understand about the controls?

Its not that you are slow, i just redneck type the way i think, hopefully it translates for a few. any how fyi the night mode on mine only has orange bars all the way across on top & bottom. The fuel gauge on the R is also orange but you can make out the "pegs" depending on how full you are. Lower level you will have empty pegs. When operating the volume it will swap to a different gauge consisting of a vertical line with a white bar crossing that will travel up or down per the input. Again mine is a 2013STL so there may be some other differences.

OK the volume control is identically working. I got that. Here is the deal. Before I left the house I started baby up. In garage the screen is orange across top and bottom with the temp gage on left not showing because the engine was cold, i saw yellow when it warmed up. When I backed it out of garage
Into daylite the orange across top and bottom designating nite screen went away. In addition both bar graphs have temp yellow gas orange are now visible. Something to do with nite screen. The bar is there but no level in orange is showing. Tank is full before anyone asks.😂

Sorry I have no idea what would cause this, least you can keep track of your fuel with the trip meter right?

What is your contrast settings? May have to adjust. Just a thought. Bruce

What I found is that when the fuel level dropped I saw a dark peg. When completely full the bar graph is totally white pegs. Totally white pegs is the level indicator. Thanks to all that responded.
