If Autocorrect is doing these things, I'm sure glad I don't have it hounding me. You're (not your) right, it IS a minefield.

now we need to get on: to & too... then: we're & were....

How about "brake", and "break"?

Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie
One that surprises me a little is 'then' instead of 'than' but it appears fairly often - and I can't see how that one would be auto-correct!!
But auto-correct, especially auto-correct on Apple devices, certainly does stick its oar in a lot, and when it does, it often chooses the wrong spelling or word for the context.

Are those commas or apostrophes? As my backfired "correction" clearly shows, I can't tell the difference!!

I'm just guessing, but I think that the commas are on the bottom.
The apostrophes must be on top.

This thread is getting way over my head. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the word arseling.
Would it be correct to say the Spyder is an arseling trike? Or, should I say- Wood it be correct to say the Spyder is an arseling trike?
OJ UK, what say you? I've been watching The Last Kingdom on the BBC, and I found this word interesting.

Adverb[edit]
arseling (not comparable)
- (Britain dialectal) Backwards.
According to this from Wiktionary, it's an adverb; not an adjective...

That would be my guess, too. But when they're floating around without letters, I can't tell if they're flying high or low. And then there are those goofy ones with the dot just above them. I think they call 'em semi colons? Like the intestines of a big rig?

And someone needs to inform auto-"correct" that there IS a word "its" that DOESN'T have an apostrophe. I've ranted before about my pet peeve, but I just can't help it; the possessive form of the word is NOT spelled "it's".

Based on the series I'm watching, I thought it meant something else, and the word ass was part of it.

I find , it hideous that know one answered, the op's origami question. Origami originally originated in some oriental land, batteries for tyres their are often made of unobtainium. So they developed a system that over rides the need for tyre batteries. Little origami structures funnel the power of the universe directly, in to, the tyres radial access need, thus ---- it's all good! So step on the break peddle and hit the throttle comma, we gone comma

Wasn't there a song back in the '80s about this?
Comma, comma, comma,
comma, comma, chameleon....

Holy cow, a thread for grammar nazis!
Well, according to this man, commas, are, very much, required.
