I use Lucas wax, I applied it after each wash. I put it wet and hand dry it. My bikes always got an a excellent sheen.

    Default Rains mud there, too?

In Texas, it often rains mud (dirt in the air mixing with falling rain = mud rain). Sounds like it happens where you are, too, Cruzr.

It took me 3 tries at retiring until I finally got it right, or at least I hope so. Been fully retired now for 1 1/2 years, but first started trying 17 years prior to that. That was a job in itself.

How do you know? Seriously, if you hadn't hosed it down, it might have taken 90 minutes to wash, instead of 45. In which case, Cupaca would be correct!

I think retirement is a state of mind. I cut my contracting business back to 1 or 2 employees and try not to work more than 3 days a week sometimes none. Full time income part time job. Riding my RT this weekend around Lake Lure/ Hendersonville NC area beautiful weather.
