    Smile Black trim treatments?

Hi all, Merry Christmas&Happy New Year! Just wondering if anyone has any tips on cleaning and possibly treating or waxing the black trim on our Spyders?

I assume since you posted in the RT section you have an RT. Just wash the black area as you do the rest of the bike. Don't wax it,the grainy surface will just trap the residue and look ugly. If your black is really looking bad try some black trim treatment for car trim. Turtle Wax makes one for black trim on cars and I also use Back to Black . Black Chrome does a good job also but it will make it shiney.

Don't wax it; the surface texture makes it impossible to clean it up...
I use the stuff that Lamont sells.

Default Here's what I would do...

Anything in this catagory and handy....WD40, Pledge (I like lemon), Plexus. Protect-all, Black Diamond (from Lamonster) etc. Then of course there are all those specific products.... see above...👀

I used Mothers "Back to Black" on my car. That is what I plan to do on my bike. You can get this at Walmart or Autozone. Unless, this is a bad idea?

All old school and cheap Harley riders use Pledge. A 3 can pack is $9 at Costco. The stuff at a bike shop is 12-15 bucks for one can.
