Cool Anyone ever have this issue??

I have a 2010 RT SM5. Last week we were out for a ride. After a stop we got back on and when I tried to shift to "N" (I normally park it in 1st) the letter "E" came up instead. When I tried to shift it would not go and showed it was in "4", turned it off and back on an it did the same thing. Then I had an idea, had the wife get off, took off the break and walked it backwards and it stopped after about 4 inches. Held in the clutch and did the same thing and walked it back about a foot. Turned off and on the key and was now able to shift into "N" and start up. Have not had the problem since but now I put it in (N) before shutting down.

It sure sounds as if your gear position sensor is giving you some trouble...
Have it checked out by your dealer; good luck!
