Looking for a "heads up" on this one.
Hi All,
On vacation and suddenly I got the orange flashing engine light as my 2014 STS refused to stay running. The manual says... Limp Mode.... Important engine management component or VSS malfunction. Have vehicle transported to the nearest Can Am authorized dealer.
Luckily, I had trailered it down... and managed to get it loaded back on to my trailer. So, I will bring it in...... in a few days when home.
Looking for some advice/opinions/prayers whatever. : )

Agree...
If you don't have the "spyder codes" app you should get it. It will give you way more information. We have many suggestions but always need a bit more information. The VSS warning can come from simple reasons to serious ones. Most are simple due to some manuver made that it did not like. I have set it off several times and simple shut down pulled the key and let her sit for a spell 45min or so and then went on my way. The check engine light seems to accompany any warning the unit may toss your way. Hope it is just a simple and easy fix....

Sorry to hear glad you had a trailer & could move it that way.
The active code would help us, but if it will nut stay running Ill just guess it may be stalling or low oil & it is saving further damage by shutting down. Hope all is figured out soon. Ya it sucks for vacation but least your not scrambling for work either & you can approach with a calmer mindset

I wonder ? --- possible throttle body sensor ? any one ... if you do take it into dealer service , and it isn`t a warranty job , save your self some money and take skins off your self , when you get cycle back you can clean up the dirty spots check out other stuff , and put your skins back on ! would imagine it would save 3 hours in service money ! { just a thought } ----------- hey 200 th post / reply
