AY4B- We actually were going to rename her 'REDEEMED', but so far have never gotten around to it! It's all part of the story......
It was my joy to give the tour! Great to see everyone....
Meeting you there.
I'll be there and looks like Bobbie will ryde with me.
Sounds good. I believe right now I'm at 80% probable
It MIGHT work out for me to meet you all there. I'll be coming in from Tyler, so if you'll give me an ETA at El Toro, I'll try to meet up.
Hey Bill- That product is sold under many names. I've installed it for friends several times and it works very well. For my bike, I wanted Wifi remoting to control it from my phone and the...
Sorry for the delay Dave. I don't check SL every day, these days....
I added the labeling for my own sanity. After adding all the LEDs and floods to the frunk, I needed a quick disconnect method...
Old Darth (now my wife's famous Psycho with the electric paint job) used to be owned by retired Dallas Cowboy Nate Newton.
1. Again... in summary.... if you do only the ones you mention you WILL be fine.
2. AND... remember, as full disclosure, if you have any issue with the bike and take it to a dealer that is...
Yep. I looked at the wiring diagrams and took mt 2010 RT to the dealer to do my right cluster replacement. It took them an entire day. You are 100% right.
This is a lousy couple of pics, but these are some of the connectors used to get the lighting to the frunk----

Great work Bob!
You're correct about the planning and plenty of connectors! I have loads of hand schematics over the years to keep me sane!
One of my tricks is to run 'bus' wires along the...
Bob is right about the education. And sometimes, THAT doesn't work as well as you'd like. So far, my dealer has cut wires when I CLEARLY showed him where the connectors were (his cut was about 6"...
Bob- I was thinking about adding a small, stickon waterproof button that would be actuated by the pushing of the PTT. Ideas?
Joe- is that a hospital tray table??! Brilliant!!
REALLY great find Bob!!
Does the app allow setting alerts based on pressure/temp levels? And I mean iOS alerts that come across even on lock screens?
Bobbie & I wanted to say a HUGE thanks for all that helped us at the Holiday Inn, and for all of the REALLY great folks we met.
BJ & Dennis Thompson were up to their eyeballs with being a vendor,...
HA!!! So true!!
Oh Geoff.... with the right LED and a little bit of lens focusing..... it'll light up the entire fog light shiny bits!
We had SO many stop and ask questions at Spyderfest 2015 about how we did the paint job on Bobbie's bike- Psycho (to be renamed...). It's too long to post but let me do a few highlights here....

I wanted to put a note here to bump this thread. I had SO many ask questions about Darth and how we did the lighting and other mods. Feel free to share this thread. My goal is to help educate and...
I'm with Bob, Joe. It might be possible, but..... To be safe, and I know this is a lot of work, take the frunk off, exposing the battery and other wiring. find or add a good 12v source (FUSED), and...
Deanna- depends on the dealer. I'm not trying to be trite, but my dealer... absolutely not. But I'm sure there are some that might be able to tackle it.
Bobbie & I arrived about 8:30 Sunday night in great shape, but pooped!
Remember that BRP. like any manufacturer, does not make every part that goes into their equipment. They do planned buys from OEM suppliers. At some point the OEM will change their designs for various...
BJ Thompson.
That little thing is a small convex mirror on the USA RTs.
You can add a small LED projection light (1 LED) to shine on to that mirror from down in the fog shroud. Not easy, but it can be done.
Is it die transfer?
I have some bluejeans that 'leach' their die on to my leather seats in my car. I've not found a cure besides washing the jeans many many times.
