Just how would you use this shaft in a emergency with foot pad in place? Makes no sense? Never read a single post till today on this subject?

Seems odd that the shaft would be there on a SE6 for what purpose other than poor engineering?

Had that problem was a bad kill switch? hold down on the kill switch and see if it stalls. I wedged a small piece of rubber wedge in the top of switch forcing the switch to stay in the run position?
