I have one of the shorter W/S' on my 2016 RTL. I think they are referred to as 'Euro' which comes from European limits on how tall a motorcycle can be. Don't quote me on this.

I agree. If the ignition switch was left on the gauges and displays were probably still being powered. That would drain the battery over time.
There is no flipped edge at the top. It looks just like this BRP one on the web....
This windshield came with my RT when I purchased it used some months ago. I looks like the original owner replaced it immediately with another. The part no. on it is 705004740. I measures 25”...
Quick bump for the summer shoppers. ;);););)
BRP calls this the Travel Cover.
It's bump time for the benefit of the person who missed this great deal the 1st time around.

BTW: I believe this is the same as the device on the Honda NC700XD for sale by RNBOB in pic...
"I get that it can be cost prohibitive to stock parts in inventory, but why isn't there a system in place to get that part in a day or two rather than weeks or even months?"
This strikes me as a...
Thanks for the replies. I obviously still have a lot to learn about my toy.
I do have Sirius XM but never thought of that because I never use the radio. I bought this RT used. The original...
I don't have any rack on my rear trunk lid and had to manually lift it all the way to the fully open spot. So...After reading this thread I bought to replacement from Amazon. It fits perfectly but...

Short protective cover by BRP.
Looks like it has never been used. Has a built-in pouch for storage.
This came with my 2016 RTL and I don't expect...
If you can use forearm crutches, Walk Easy makes folding ones that are very good. They fit in the frunk nicely tucked away until I stop.
I bought them on Amazon or eBay, not sure which. A bit...
I haven't had this problem but when I read the post I immediately thought 'Voltage Problem'. This might be the sign of a aging weakening battery. IMHO ;)
"Try to find a small piece of rubber block that you could cut in two and wedge each piece under the ends of the double throw switch. Neatly cut and fit no one would know they are there."

This is the same trailer I hauled my 09 GS on for many miles. I tows like a dream. Give it a good long look!
It also hauls a golf cart perfectly.
I sent an inquiry to Rugged Geek and got back the same answer that Peteoz posted. I don't have a Spyder right now and the car I was testing on is a BMW X3 and I'm not about to disconnect the battery...
This is the very one Lamont sells. I may have bought it from another vendor.
I did use the manual. Not much help there. Every demo I've seen uses a dead battery. I'm attempting a trial run...
I did a search but got no good hits so here's my question.
I bought this jump pack several months ago and have never needed to use it. Lucky me I guess. I turn it on and the display shows 100%...
Last week my car tires were all down about 4 psi. Got out the air pack which had been sitting for a couple months. It ran out of power at the end of the 3rd tire. Plugged it in to the A/C and was...
Discount mounted car tires on my Spyder twice at 2 different stores. The latter one couldn't balance them because their spindle was too large. Hmmm.
I've also had a Discount store refuse to...
You certainly created a lot of comments here. I had a very similar trailer when I bought my Spyder in 09. I built rails like yours but went all the way to the front so I could load it facing...
I went to the local H-D shop and they had it in stock. Makes the whole process much easier. Used it on Spyder, bicycle, and car.
From another M/C forum. Load the trailer for your trip. Drive it thru some water and observe the footprint the tire leaves. Too narrow means the tire is too hard. Too wide means it could use a...
I wonder if that was Virgil. I met him on a group ride in 2012 when we were living there. I think it was his 1st bike ever, a beautiful RT Limited. At 89 he was still very sharp and liked that...
Nice to see someone taking a real world look at these devices. Based on your description it seems that the lower capacity Anti Gravity unit s/b the one in your Spyder and the Lamonster pack should...
I still have my 09 GS SE5 and debate upgrading. Your comments on the ride fit my opinions spot on plus I have this 09 fine tuned to all of my personal needs and preferences. It's been rock solid...
I burned one out about 4 years ago. No affect on running.
You can access the bulb socket thru a narrow gap on the bottom of the tail piece. That's where some people cut away some of the plastic....
Is that hose by any chance the same threads as the hose used on the tubular self-storing bicycle pumps? That would provide more flexible length to work with. I'm thinking of it for my wife to use...
I put those tires on my '09 GS last summer in that same size. They fit just fine with no adjustments or spacers. I bought them from Discount Tire and they mounted them. One clue: remove the mud...
I replaced my OEM after 6yrs with the Odyssey PC 680 and it's doing great. My Spyder sits for several weeks w/o running sometimes and it fires right up. Most of my rides are 60 miles or more so I...
