I have no idea what the OPs point was, but what I spend money on is no ones business but mine.
Either "The Spyder" or "The bike". I don't name motorcycles, cars, or guitars.
I'm just wondering...how much of this is on the dealer? Was the bike(s) assembled incorrectly to begin with? It does sound like he's been given incorrect info from the dealer more than once.

I've been using full face helmets since they first became available to me in 1976. In 1980 a Simpson helmet literally saved my life. These days my wife and I only wear Snell rated helmets (Shoei's). ...
My RT has had some problems but all were quickly fixed by my dealer at no cost to me and I love riding my Spyder.
I will say, every Yamaha/Star motorcycle I ever owned (RD400, XS500, VStar 1300T)...
All I can say is I had Mustang seats for my Yamaha V-Star 1300T and my Suzuki M50 and they were both superior to the OEM seats.
Still looking at an Ultimate seat for my RT-AC.
I may have missed it, but will this work in the rear suspension airbag on an RT, or is it too powerful?
I suffered third degree burns on the lower outside of my right leg in 1980 when a drunk driver hit me on my Yamaha XS500 from the side and his radiator ruptured, burning me with radiator fluid. That...
I have them and they're great for directing air flow and reducing helmet bobble. They're far better than the lowers I used to have on my last two wheeler.
Ball cap.
Was in Sebring for the SCCA Majors races and saw 5 different RTs between Thursday and Saturday on RT 27...1 white, 1 red, 1 black, 1 yellow, and 1 blue.
Sounds good to me!
That's why I rode Yamahas for so many years...virtually bullet proof.
I use Purple Slice. However, I've found if I spend all my time trying to keep my RT spotless, I have very little time for riding.
I give all my business to Central Florida Powersports. I have not found better.
I "fired" Route 1 five years ago for a number of reasons. I still have no reason to go back and give them a third...

I was riding north on U.S. 1 today between Melbourne and Port Orange when I saw three different Spyders, all southbound. The first was a yellow ST south of Mims...I waved but I don't think he saw me....
Not bad looking!
Does anyone know is the Florida Coast to Coast chapter or the Space Coast Region is still active?
Bad dealer. Mine is the exact opposite...they bend over backwards to give good service.
Picked up my RT from Central Florida Power Sports this afternoon and rode it the 65 miles home with no problems to my ankle! First time I've ridden since before I broke and dislocated my left ankle...
I consider it a motorcycle, as does the state of Florida.
Hand brake.
I haven't ridden since my left ankle was dislocated and broken last December. My Spyder's been sitting in my daughter's garage since that time. Due to the fact I've had four surgeries since the...

I had a discectomy and laminectomy on my L3 and L4 over 20 years ago. It was over 3 months before I was able to do much of anything. A lot's going to depend on your doctor and how your body heals.

I got it and ran it through. Rolled my eyes at the figure I got. Anyway, I like mine and have no intention of getting rid of it.
I just saw this...and REALLY like it. My wife is interested in it, too. I'll be getting my RT (and me) up and running for the first time in 10 months in about 3 weeks and this would work very well...
It took me about 3 or 4 days to adapt to the Spyder from two wheels. My wife got on and was good to go right away.
