I had my 12k service today, along with the infamous software update. I made it about five miles towards home and it went into limp mode and showed both VSS and DPS faults. Took it back to the shop....
I just signed up as well. Thanks for the inspiration!

I will see you in Redwood City and join from there, then head back to Petaluma from Fairfield.

Hi MM,
I have signed up on the site. See you there.

I have done 114, with still some throttle left, but ran out of road.

I have an XL sorta-oval head. The three helmets I wear, depending on the temperature are:
Akuma
Nolan
Nexx
and still looking for the perfect one!
I too have been avoiding the recall update. Gotta take mine in soon for the 12K service, so hopefully I won't be stranded in the same spot SpyderGirl was!
Mine was the engine oil pressure sensor...
First bike I rode was a "Monkey Wards" minibike. The first one I owned was a 1961 Tohatsu Runpet Sport 50cc. You had to mix your own oil and gas and it fouled a plug a day it seemed. Layed down a...

You can get to those bolts under the handle bars - go to OSH or some other hardware store and buy a "low profile" socket set. The socket actually sits inside the rachet head and only protrudes about...

The Spyder does sound different than other two wheel bikes, I think it is be cause of the plastic enclosures. I had the same fine deposit at first, but it stopped after about 500 miles. Probably...

Our boxer, Bruce, is learning to sit behind me, but he keeps drooling down my neck!
One of the members here did a "mufflectomy" on the stock muffler, he opened it up and removed most of the insides. Try PM'ing him. His user name is "sylblk".

My wife thought she wanted a scooter, so she signed up for the MSF course to learn how to ride. After the first day she came home and said she didn't want a scooter anymore, she could just drive the...
Mine came in the mail this Saturday. It took about two months from the time I registered.

Mine was a faulty oil pressure sensor...
Not wanting to take anything away from Carlo, but the company I work for has several call centers. Each person's title is some type of executive or the other. They have fancy titles so the...
I have the same one, and it fits over Grip Puppies too.
I use mine for the driver's seat and really like it. I had problems with it coming out too, until I finally used the locking screw, and has been fine since.

I accidently bought a Givi Windshield when I ordered my Givi Topcase, it and the case mounting bracket were the same price and I didn't realize my mistake until the windshield showed up with the top...
Or look at it this way:
Do it yourself and you get to buy some neat new tools! A gear puller and shallow socket set or ratchet box wrenches!
