Having a battery tender is critical to preserve your battery especially for short rides every week and especially critical when in freezing temps like in Ohio... I would start with the solar battery...

I have a 2013 RS SM5.... I've seen pics on the Cee Baileys tall windshield site with a red RS and the OEM bars not cut off and 4" risers installed and thought maybe I should think about it so I could...

Do you have to cut the handlebars to install risers or can you leave them on?... thanx, jim
