The BRP between Jefferson NC and Boone NC is closed for road work. Been that way for some months now. Not sure of distance but about 20mi or so. The detour is well marked.
Seems like a decent price.
Great story. Look forward to your next one.
Note to all you folks who put off doing this: DO IT NOW! Before you know it will be too late and you're not physically able to do it.
Put a set of these on my '22 RT about 4K mi ago and am well pleased with them. They balanced with only one weight per wheel. Running 15lb front, 18rear Altimax45.
Yep, works for me too, other than mine is a round dowel about 3/4" in diameter. One end slips into hole on left rear. I tacked a rubber bushing on one end to keep it from slipping. Might get...
There is a short section closed for work on bridges between Jefferson NC and BRP exit at RT 421. I'm guessing about 18-20mi. The detour around this, RT 163 over to RT 221 to RT 421/BRP is a nice...
Looks like BRP calls it an "Idler Pulley" or am I reading this wrong? Whatever it is, we all know what we're writing about. LOL...
Coming up on 15K shortly and thinking ahead about when to change the roller. What is general opinion when to do this?
Have to order some other stuff from Lamonster and thinking on ordering a...
It might be three years old by now, but I don't know that since I traded the F3 that it was in last April '23. It was doing fine at that time.
Can't beat that. Good buy.
Mine too.
Kromm...I bought a new '22 RT last April and had the same issues you had. Replaced it with Yuasa also. Didn't notice what oem brand was.
Sounds good. What color did you choose?
The Burgman looks like a 650....is that true? Before I became a 3 wheeler, I owned, over time, several Burgman 400's and 650's. Fantastic machines.
Finally got released from Verizon a few days ago and so far it works great. As good, in some areas better, than Verizon. Too early to tell as I'm not traveling much this time of year.
Looks like what was on my '16...
Went to dealer today and they are going to replace the right hand switch unit. Since that unit is being replaced I added a bit of JBWeld to the prongs to make it easier to turn on.
Thanks all...
Mine came off today while riding interstate so there was no chance of finding it. I use the cruise a lot and can still set it, depending on thickness of glove as two small "prongs" stick out. If...
Thanks Randy, I'm going to give it a try. Heck, for $10 a month, no contract, not much to lose if I don't like it. If only I can figure how to get released from Verizon! LOL
Thinking of trying something less expensive than Verizon and one service I came across is Tello. They ride on T-Mobile system. Anyone know anything about Tello?
Nice. Looks like just rolled off show room floor. Might see you riding around Salisbury one of these days.
Whoops, I see you are in Wake county; was thinking it was Rowan. All the same, enjoy.
Idaho: Thanks for posting. Amsoil is a good product and can always be relied on. Your report confirms that in spades. The viscosity of the oil, at 13.6, was still in the 40W range so it had...

Put two Kenda Kanine's on the extra set of silver colored wheels I bought for my '22 RT. It came with black wheels and I wanted something different.
Small local shop mounted and balanced them...
Rick......I think you nailed it! I never would have thought of that. Will check it out tmr. Thanks.
On a ride this morning I noticed the odometer lacked about 150 miles before turning over to 10K. On way home his afternoon, about 10 miles from home, I noticed it was reading 9999.9 so I watched it...
I've used several of these over the year. Given enough use the male end might eventually break and need replacement. Have them on two helmets I currently use most.
Backlighting: looks good and you'll find it handy to have with so many features.
I am using one of these. Had to remove the valve stem of the oem and it works fine. Just lays under the seat.
