Check out "Longeride.com". I've been pretty satisfied with it (it's called "Freedom Air Motorcycle Cushion"). It runs about $180 but has been worth it to me.

Had same problem a while back...put between 4 and 5 tablespoons of brake fluid in and problem went away....apparently it doesn't take much to set off the alert!

Sounds like plugs to me...I think a dirty fuel filter would give you problems having nothing to do with the heat...but, what do I know, maybe best to see the dealer....Welcome home brother....USMC...
