My question is "CAN it be a connector"?
If connectors are not possibly the cause of my issue with no power steering assist and the "steering issue orange message", then I won't bother to remove...
My DPS was replaced during that recall campaign - and it worked just fine until it just quit doing anything.
I hope that it is just a bad connection in a connector and that a replacement of the...
My DPS (power assist steering) is not working at all. I have the "Check DPS" signal blinking on the display and have checked the codes (as I recall they were PO51 and PO52, but I am not sure.

I haven't tried this, but I would think that those new fangled sockets that allow the bolt (or in this case - antenna) to pass through the socket would work very well for this.

No new news - I am out of town this week and next and won't have time to do anything with for at least three weeks - will let y'all know what I find.
I appreciate all of the replies and...
No noticeable damage at the switch under the seat.
Roger - thanks for your reply.
Yes - I pushed and pulled at the connector, but it is down in a hole and I can't get at it other than to just touch it with only having opened the seat - I don't know...
My bride and I hit a bump the other day and she left the seat briefly - it sounded like the seat "bottomed out" when she came back down (probably a bit low on the air pressure in the air bladder)....
There are two on each side of the RT - one each straight knobs and one each bent knobs - I had to replace one of my bent ones, but don't have the part number with me.
I ran out once - about 25 yards from the pump - it took 6.03 gals to fill up FULL
If the panel is for easier access to the transmission filter, would it apply to the SM models?:dontknow:

Why would there be a preference for one side or the other?
:dontknow:
I don't think that you would ever be able to "stab" the hole at the bottom from above
- I got it done by loosening the panel to which the radio antenna is attached (two screws outside and two...
I am installing the Custom Dynamics HMT brake light this morning - all went reasonably well until I tried to insert the plastic "fishing tape" up through the hole for the wires and antenna above the...
On my 2010 RT, the "angled knobs" are "keyed" to only fit in one direction - there is a notch in the panel with a matching protrusion on the knob (or maybe it was the other way around - it's been a...

What is the length of the J&M antenna? - I would like something shorter than the stock antenna
Do diesel pickup trucks with two 12V batteries in parallel have an isolator? - have seen many, but never looked for or saw an isolator.
The unidirectional issue is not important for rotating tires as it applies to the rear tire; just the fronts. Is hydroplaning as significant an issue for the front tires as it is for the rear?
Is anyone using tires that are not uni-directional? - It would be a big plus if the tires could be rotated by just swapping sides.
Does the discharge from this can blow down or horizontally to the left - if to the left, where does the hot air exit the plastic?
Sorry, I misremembered the acronym - I have a '99 Venture and have adjusted the SWR with a meter that I bought, but the antenna has a screw adjustment thingy in the end - I don't see any such thing...
Why the heat sink paste? - I had never heard of it until seeing it on this site. What function does it serve?
How is the SLR adjusted with the stock antenna?
I am in Lake Charles - but don't want my wife to see your pictures - she will have me installing lights and I don't really have the time.
On my 2010 RT, the curved ones have a notched out place on the bottom that matches a protruding piece of the panel so that if you line that up when tightening, they will "aim" in the right direction...
A testimonial for "O" ring longevity - I have a 1998 Cadillac Catera that has an "O" ring seal for the oil pan drain plug - the oil has been changed many times by me - the "O" ring has never been...
I have searched the shop manual and don't find instructions for removing the "front panel" - the one that houses the fog light. Is it so obvious, that it dosn't need instructions - or did I miss it...
There us one part that you made look awfully easy, that I had quite a bit of trouble with.
The two "prongs" that are held on the bottom edge of the top side panel gave me a lot of trouble - the...
I had a problem with access to those screws to get them started when reassembling after installing the hand brake - I finally got it using a torx tool made to fit into a screwdriver - I think that it...
