I taught a 3-class this past weekend in the morning. Mostly previous 2-wheel riders.
I guess I'm screwed. I also taught a 2-wheel class in the afternoon. It certainly takes a few laps getting...
I ride a scooter.... a Spyder.... and a BMW GS..... I'm screwed....... :(
I'd much have an ECE rated helmet than a Snell.
There are no Snell rated Modular helmets.....
Snell Memorial Foundation
Can't wear Schuberth because of the shape of my head. Would love to try one of these!
I am totally sure they will not fit on other brands. I have an integrated Sena 10u on my Neotec though.
I have just one SRC PRO unit.
I had purchased 2 Schuberth helmets, but luckily...
Schuberth SRC PRO communication system. My loss is your gain. Bought 2 new Schuberth helmets and neither fits. (wrong head shape). Got the SRC PRO from Revzilla and they do not accept returns on...
Shoei Neotec meets your needs. They even have removable padding so you can wash it or change to thicker/thinner padding for perfect fit. Sena also makes the 10u that integrates well with it if you...
Another thing to think about is the Neotec is "only" DOT rated. The Schuberth and others? are ECE rated which tests impact resistance of the chin bar. DOT doesn't!!
Folks..... you do know that most helmets have removable/replaceable padding to have a custom fit. The Neotec that I got was too tight around the cheeks and too loose around the crown. I ordered...
Save your money.... go AIRHAWK!
As another thought..... my Neotec didn't fit me perfectly, so I changed the padding to different thicknesses to to work for me.
I got thinner cheek pads and thicker comfort liner pad. You can get...
I'm in Issaquah with an RT-S
I also teach the the S/TEP 3-wheel course at Everygreen Safety Council....
I have this one as well on my RT-S... Also have one on my BMW GS as well as car. The company INNOVV, makes cameras for both motorcycles and cars. The cameras I have are the K1 systems.
I'm so glad Sena made integrated units for Shoei, HJC, Arai and Schuberth! Those things look hideous sticking out on the side of a helmet!!

As a S/TEP 3-wheel instructor, we teach our students to drift. Now as you know, Spyders don't like to have their rear wheel spun out of control. When going around a left hand corner, we hang WAY off...
I have the Innovv K1 system on all my motorcycles.
1. Turns on/off with the ignition
2. Loop recording. Writes over old files. With a 64GB microSD card, that's several days worth
3. Records...
Actually have 3 two-wheel bikes and a RT-S Spyder. I ride each equally..... have no health issues AND have a MB AMG in the garage. Love my toys!!
I kinda' like the T-Rex a little better than the Slingshot! I've seen a couple up here.....

I get the haters all the time in my MSF classes. You should see the look on their faces when I ride up on the Spyder the next day. Never seen as many folks start backtracking as they do.... ...
Same here..... I have the house..... Mercedes AMG, Rav4, CBR1000rr, Spyder, BMW GS with not a problem..... even after a coupe of no fault claims!!
I've ridden in 112 - 115 degree heat. If you dress correctly... it is NEVER TOO HOT!!
I've got the 10u for the Shoei Neotec. Works perfectly. Nothing on the outside of the helmet and looks fully integrated.
I've seen 4 of them. The eclipse today was nothing new.... been there, done that.... moving on.....
Have ridden many times in 105 - 112 degree heat in TX/AZ. Mesh is your friend. Also, use cooling shirts/vests/pants under your mesh. I've actually gotten pretty cool in these conditions. If you don't...
Riding a BMW f800gs and a Yamaha t-max scooter along with the Spyder RT-S
Just ordered.... THANKS!!
Do you have a reference for this? This would be good for my classroom instructors.
Great article another instructor forwarded to me.
