I get what they are going for, and they pulled it off pretty well...though I don't really appreciate it, myself. I really prefer more real leather, padding, and slide safety over lightweight...
Picked up a ticket yesterday. As a veteran with my own combat-related injuries, I support this endevour 100%. I only wish I could currently afford more tickets! My wife would absolutely kill to not...
True bikers don't give a damn about what you ride, as long as you ride.
Respect for respect's sake unless shown otherwise.
My GPS mount on my 2012 RTS is adjustable to angle.
I admit, in the summer months I only tote Boots, pants (usually ones I deployed in, since I like the style), t-shirt, leather vest, and helm. When the temp gets above 95 (and road temp way higher) I...
Man, I'm reading about people getting burned from seats and all sorts of heat issues.
Did I just luck out with my 2012 RT-S, as far as heat problems go? I've never gotten more than 'warm' from...
Another medic! Cheers mate. Drink water, drive on. :)
Oh man, I get that. I'm 28 and I run with a pack of sportbikes one day and a pack of Cruisers the next. A few freinds joke with 'You shoulda gotta Harley', but I've not had anyone say any -real-...
I gave it a shot. After all, it is directly from the BRP site, about the pins.
I only qualify for the 5K miles, currently, though I'm preparing to roll over 10K. I was just lazy!
I'll let...
I ride all year round here in Virginia, and have been since getting the spyder in Feb. It takes some preparation, but riding to work at 5am in 20F is pretty exhilarating.
Contact them. Their customer service is top notch, alright. I had an issue with one of my GloRyders going out, and refusing to relight. They sent me a replacement in no time! They should be able to...
Pardon my cruddy cell camera. I'll break out the big gun SLR later!

Correct.
Funnily enough, the cop I spoke to today said much of the same about candlepower. I showed it to him on yellow setting and then that orangish color and he said either should be acceptable in VA, and...
Recently, I received my glorider wheel hub lighting system in the mail, and they are simply amazing! Installation was a breeze, even if it took a little rubber mallet work to get the initial base set...
Doing blind tests ALWAYS makes you feel like an idiot, no matter what your previous experience with them has been. I used to have to do blind grab and go's with my aid bag, and in our Med Stryker. It...
I assure you that I am far, far from perfect. Just an aging soldier who drills with equipment that may jeopardize his life if used inappropriately. I have enough to worry about with people not paying...
I apologize if you felt my comment was coming off as 'snarky' or aggressive, I was simply trying to be curt and to the point about the issue. It isn't wise to be peering about one's car at night in...
Well, in my experience, it takes far less time to 'glance' at a speed/RPM digital readout than it does to actively 'search' down and left, locate the intended button/function, and then re-acquire the...
I've never noticed an issue with the controls being lit or unlit. I don't look down to thumb at my controls (aside from the center 'console' ones, which is fairly rare), so the lights would make...
I have a few! Uther the Shiba Inu doesn't need the shoes anymore, but I still keep safety straps on his harness. Click to enlarge the images!

I have never, ever, to this date, seen a motorcycle get pulled over for an exhaust issue, unless it was EXTREMELY loud (think about it, HD's toddle about going POTATO POTATO as loud as anything!) or...
Heh! I typically twist the throttle to power through most turns that would cause me to 'accidentally' increase speed, anyway!
Hey, Spyderlovers! I'm at a bit of an impasse here, and I need your assistance on a few questions. Firstly, I'd like to add some LED lighting effects to my spyder, but I am attempting to keep it on...
I know this is going to sound really lame, but did you ensure that the shift paddle was tight? There is a screw connecting it to the handlebar, and if it becomes loose it will allow some 'play' in...
~$300 at Virginia Power Motorsports in Ruckersville, VA.
I don't have a response for you aside from what everyone else has already stated, so I'm here for moral support! I hope you can figure something out, and would love to see you out on the road...
A good hard gust of wind can really shove the Spyder around a lot, so that might have been the case. As long as it isn't a recurrent issue (The pull, not the wind!), then I'd say you are in the clear.
Can we get a link to the Ultimate item you were speaking of? I'm curious of this, because my wife is a big girl, and I can get a bit crowded too sometimes!
