Didn't mean any harm, just want folks to do it...

your plan is probably 100 percent right in your case, not everybody has the same set of requirements for sure. 99 percent of the time I would be ok with just the set up you describe, but, having gone...
What most don't realize is that when you backfeed into the utility with 120/230 volts is that transformers work backwards also. Although the inrush current would most likely trip your generators...
The transfer switch eliminates the possibility that the breakers are switched in the wrong sequence feeding back to the utility power and energizing a line someone may be working on . Code requires...
You are very right Scotty, if you don't know how to do this correctly it can be very dangerous. I observed a neighbor wiring up an outlet once that he was going to use for a quick way to plug in his...
I totally agree with Bruiser about the transfer switch, it's a must . You can get either a manual or automatic version depending on your situation. If you can deal with a period of time after a power...
We just installed a 14 kw propane generator after several extended power outages last year. This has worked perfectly, the power didn't go off for more than a minute since installing it in March. As...
Seems you took some offense to another's opinion of your favorite ride. :lecturef_smilie:But why did you have to post the same type of remarks about what may be another's choice?
Happen to own...
 Got back 4:30 Monday afternoon. Only stops other than gas was a ride around Columbus with a friend and the flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville Pa. Did our sight seeing on the way out. Had a...
Terry, husband Case, and hopefully daughter Kylie staying at Comfort Inn Rolla. Looking forward to this!:D
Friday, Nov. 25th, followed a red :ani29: RT east on Old Jonestown Road. I was in my truck and my wife was outside as it went by the house. My wife said it was a woman pilot, she waved and the...
Ours is an AC version so you set the pressure manually through the schraeder valve under the seat on the right side near the brake resivoir. I use a little mini pump with guage attached that is from...
When we got ours I also noted the feeling you describe as a wobble. My wife on the other hand was much less affected by this and thought I was in her words, "obsessed" in an effort to correct a...
I had a similar problem, sometimes the first to second shift would "miss". found the shift lever would touch the casting that the foot pegs mount to when you would upshift (only first to second...
:congrats: :welcome: I know what you mean about the "squiggly's" but I'll bet that goes away with some seat time and a lighter grip on the bar. At first I never thought I would be relaxed like on...
:congrats: :welcome:
Looks like a great day to Ryde! Where did you get it, if you don't mind me asking?
Roar On The Shore bike rally in Erie is July 14th thru the 16th we are going to spend some time there as well as enjoy some of the other attractions in the area. www.roarontheshore.com:spyder:
Jack,
Just did a ride to NW PA. from Harrisburg area where we live. I might suggest the area from Erie south towards Clarion Pa. This includes the Titusville area where the first oil wells were...
:opps: Sorry, thought I was replying to "average mileage for RT" thread. Don't pull a trailer so my results don't apply to your situation exactly.:D
We have been getting 35 to 37 mpg consistently on our 2010 RT in warm weather. The mileage is less in the winter because of the gas formulation I believe, about 3 mpg. Last trip Sunday and Monday...
We saw more SPYDERS on this ryde than we have in the previous 13 months we've owned ours! First a white RT at the Sand Lot grille on Peninsula Drive in Erie PA. Sunday night,we were at Joe Root's...
Also going on not too far away is 'Army Heritage Days" celebration in Carlisle. We're going out somewhere in that direction Sat. Maybe we'll run into you, have a great time! :2thumbs:
Did this the last two years, first time both of us on the Ultra. Last year the Ultra and the Spyder. Ours was the only Spyder and the first to do this event, there were two Stallions though. This was...
How about a "cramp buster", you can use the heel of your palm instead of grasping the grip with your fingers.
If you are indicating the ones with the raised pin in the center they do not have to be removed to get the panels off, they hold a pin that goes into a rubber grommet to seciure the panel. these just...
they are called "torx" bits, you can get an inexpensive set at any hardware store either to fit a ratchet or screwdriver types.
Don't know what the noise is but there should be all the tools needed to remove the panels under the seat in the tool kit.:welcome:
If you start the Spyder and the sensor does not get pressure in 5 seconds it goes into "limp mode". After an oil change I start it and let it run 4 seconds then shut it off and restart while watching...
Read this thread and had a few responses :D
"Derogatory posts"
Probably found more negative posts as a percentage of owners here than on any motorcycle forum I've read! Especially on the RT early...
:ohyea: We would be interested, sounds like fun!
