I have a 14 RT also - my understanding of how the brake works is that there is normal braking and there is "balls to the wall Braking" .... in the latter mode, the floorboard is supposed to tip...

:agree: with Peter ( above ) ..... when BRP came out with the F-3 model .... as far as seating positions goes that was a major change .... other than that all the other Spyders are basically the same...

T-6 is a Full synthetic .... I don't think they will thicken in cold temps like a dino oil will ....JMHO ....Mike :thumbup:

:agree: my 14 RT is similar ..... I had some scrap plywood 3/8, I drilled a hole one inch from the end then made two cuts alongside the hole ..... this slot fits over the oil filler and makes it easy...

Here in central Vermont the near term weather is going to be in the low to mid 80's :clap: ..... with mostly sunny ..... generally speaking 80's in May is not normal ..... but I'll take it .....Mike...

:agree: with Peter and Snoking 1127 ..... The actual bed size is only meaning-full if the tailgate opening is wide enough ..... And a short ramp isn't really a problem - just tilt the TONGUE end up...

I have over 80,000 miles on my 14 RT, which I bought and have DIY serviced since new - only 40,000 miles on a 1330 engine is nothing to be concerned about. You don't say how much they are asking, and...

I know many folks here were/are using straps over 2 or 3 tires .... I only ever used one over the rear tire and never had an issue .... My front tires had blocks on the outside of the front tires...

I have the same engine/trans that you do .... a 14 RT with 80,000 + miles .... on a cold start the revs are 1100 + rpm's and they drop to 900 in about ONE minute ..... this lowers the CLUNK quite a...

You have an older Spyder and I don't know the Sequence of button pusing for retrieving codes. ....My 2014 RT is different. Someone will chime in and tell you ..... However you might try this ........

:agree: :clap: .... I started ( this method ) using rachet straps over the wheels / tires about a decade ago. There is no better way of preventing your Spyder from moving - PERIOD..... It's simple,...

The OEM front speakers were 5.25 .... the rears were a custom size, I think 4.25". I was able to enlarge the rear hole to fit the 5.25 without any problem .... A tip .... if you can raise the speaker...

When you get to that area, check out the Chamber of Commerce roadside stands .... they have maps of the local area's best MTC. routes ...... Enjoy Bruce ....Mike :thumbup:

I did mine completely differently.... The output of the OEM stereo/amp is fine; the key is how much resistance the Speakers have. OEM, that is 4 Ohms; mine are 2 Ohms. My '14 RT can be heard from 300...

When aiming headlights for height you are doing it right .... However, I would see what it looks like after it gets dark.... that's what's more important IMHO... Mike

If you have some sort of "quick dis-connect" on the battery, that's fine; but if you have to remove one of the battery leads down on the battery, that can be a problem .... could you dis-connect the...

Blue and or Red is likely to be a Legal issue .... check with DMV .... Mike :thumbup:

:agree: .... my 14 RT has over 80,000 mi., the tension is at 150 lbs +/- ( on the ground ) this is lower than OEM specs .... my belt looks fine .....good luck ...Mike :thumbup:

Like I said above that RAMP is going to catch a lot of air...... If it we mine I'd make sure I had plenty of weight on the tongue while towing at highway speeds. ..... If cost etc. is about equal -...

The "cancel" feature (ie. OFF) has been an issue from the beginning. You can try some dry silicone spray into the switch to see if it helps .... Your dealer suggesting a "$450.00 fix that MAY OR MAY...

That UT10 is going to have a lot of drag from the tailgate after you raise it ..... JMHO .... Mike :thumbup:
