I opted for a Barnett clutch. I wasn't having the same problem. Mine was slipping going up hill in fifth gear. After putting in 2 clutches I opted for the carbon fiber Barnett. I just got mine back...

Had the Barnett clutch installed and it's harder to pull the clutch lever back but engages better than stock. The service manager said it's a lot more beefier than stock. So we will see. :clap:

Mine is in the front trunk and it works fine here in Pa.

Well it's in the shop now so we will see. I'll let you know what the problem is when I get it back. I'm sure the shop will not admit fault even tho it's slipped since I had the new clutch put it.

Anyone have any clutch issues? Clutch went out on my 2012 and had it replaced 2 years ago. i have less than a thousand miles on the thing and while going up hill rolled on the gas and its slipping....

Just an FYI. If you insure your Spyder with Mark Fischer out of Arizona check your policy. Make sure you are being insured for what you ask for. I'll explain at a later date.:banghead:

Thanks everyone. Before going to the auto parts store did some more investigating. I found a wire that had fallen onto the exhaust under the plastic. Fixed that and changed out a fuse and back in...

as for the sepcs are they the numbers on the relay ?? of do I have to look someplace else???

Ok fast question. The relay that controls 12 V plug and CB,GPS and so on. Do they go bad, Both plugs on my RT don't work and the fuse is good. Also can you get the relays at a local Auto parts store...
