Thanks to you both for the comments. Just dropped the price a little more!
Reduced price to $16,500! Selling due to back trouble. Transferrable, extended warranty included, and free delivery may be possible. Only modifications include front floorboards, shorty antenna,...
I'm at $17, 950 right now. Got the trike on several sites now, and I'll stay at this price for a while to see what happens.
I appreciate the comments. If someone has a reasonable offer, we can talk about it. I still have several options to explore, just haven't had time yet.
Thanks,
Jack
Additional info concerning value of Spyder - Looks like $19,000 is a reasonable price, but I'll do $18,500!
Sorry photos need to be rotated.
Been out of town. Will try to do more research and update post soon.
Captain Bob, great information and tips. I'll certainly check into the web sites, etc. that you suggested ASAP. I appreciate the help.
I noticed today that the extended warranty is a $1200 value, so as Bill Murray might say, "You've got that going for you".
I now have the trike on craigslist, and I'll be putting it on e bay...
I realize a backrest and possibly an aftermarket seat may help. I may give that a try, but I'm just in the mood right now to let the Spyder go.
Good thought. Actually, it's practically stock. It has front floor boards instead of pegs, a shorty antenna, and foam grips.
It is the SE6, and it does have the audio system.
I've...
Price now reduced to $16,500.00. The Spyder is perfect, located in south MS, and would consider delivery. More details in posts below.
Thanks to all. Very good information. I'll probably keep the stock seat for a while.
Very good advice and information. I just ran across Russell seats. You send the stock seat to them, and they modify it. Seems to be a little cheaper than the other aftermarket seats.
I apologize if this topic has been over-discussed already, but the more I research seat options, the more confused I get. I have no real problem with the stock seat on my 2016 F3-T, but I'm guessing...
Great information! Thanks to all.
As soon as this daily rain pattern in the deep south breaks, I'm thinking about taking my first short road trip - maybe lasting three or four days. Any general tips about Spyder security while...
Great information. Thanks.
I have a new F3-T, and I may be putting too much pressure on the handle bars when mounting and dismounting the bike, but I can't get the allen screws tight enough to keep the bars from occasionally...
I usually join the forums before I purchase a new vehicle to see what's being said about the vehicle. I understand how the comments may cause some concern, but I've never experienced any of the...
Oh yeah, got many hours on 4 wheelers through the years.
Will do, Thanks.
Ha, yes, F3 T. Just changed it on my post. Thanks.
Finally pulled the trigger today on a new, 2016, F3 T, after about 5 years of thinking about a spyder. Haven't ridden since I was much younger on dirt bikes (I'm 66 now). Most of my rides will be...
Thanks to all for the valuable information.
Wow! Thanks for the detailed information. Jack
Is the ST riding position the same as the RT? If so, that would be good - comfort without the unnecessary storage.
I apologize for such a rookie question, but I'm just starting to shop for a used Spyder, and the different models, RT, etc. are a little confusing. I'm 65, and although I don't anticipate any rides...
