Anybody have suggestions on where and what to mount for cup and phone holders?
If that is what it takes, I will give it a BRP a chance to make this right. What is the contact info for Carlos?
I contacted accufast2d on ebay about the broken bracket. They seem to be very willing to back up thier product. They are sending me a replacement and making it double the thickness. I will let you...
Yes they refused to cover mine under "Best". I guess it's not really the best is it? They broke once under the normal 2 year, and were replaced free. IMO they are a bad design and should not only...
Both brackets had splits and were replaced under warranty last year. Just recently, the tab on the swingarm broke off. BRP offered 1 hour labor to fix.
:congrats:
:welcome:
enjoy
That helps thanks :2thumbs:
I had purchased the 5 year extended warranty in Oct 2008 when I took delivery of my 08 SM5. I cannot locate the original paperwork, but I thought I saw a digital version of BRP’s extended warranty...

Ditto.....Back in the shop twice for faults, then great.
Stopped into VB yesterday about 1 PM and spotted a red Spyder. Was that anyone from here?

I thought I read in a thread where someone stuffed a stainless steel pot scrubber in thier Hindle to tone it down.
:agree: Mine was doing the same, just as groundeffect described. I have since cleaned out the airbox and put a foam filter inline and so far. a few hundred miles and no oil drips.
I looked at the paperwork and it made no mention of an update. The tech was not there when I picked it up, but when I dropped it off, I told him I was nervous about the DPS issues that seemed to pop...
Are you trying to give me MORE gray hairs?
Glad your back on the Spyder Kim :2thumbs:
I hope it behaves for you, and hope to see you and HDX soon, and Road Dog and his new trike. We will meet at a doughnut shop.

Update:
Brought it to the dealer, the tech changed the purge valve and it is running back to normal now. It has been cool here in CT, but in city driving the temp has got up to 5 bars and it is...
update on this. The spring was from one of my Harbor Freight tools a pair of wire cutters. :roflblack:
Notice the small springs in this set:

Glad your OK. :2thumbs:
:agree:
The original specs seemed too tight, and now such a drastic drop.
Here is a converter:

And that is (was) the acceptable range when checking, but for adjusting, the specs are even tighter: 1400-1600 Newtons. The rear wheel is supposed to be off the ground to check the tension.
Nice find
Here are the install instructions:

Easy job Sarge. I have the guage here as well as a torque wrench and allen wrench. Thats all thats needed except for the 36 MM socket and a large adjustable. Auto Zone has the 36 MM socket to loan...
