I like your choice of a 2 wheeler. About 5 years ago, I got the “new” edition Ninja 400. Lightweight, 70 mpg, still lets me Lean!!!!!!.
If I hadn’t chosen that, I would have certainly...
Like others here, I have used a chain to secure it to a pole, railings, etc. But, if someone really wants it…….
Thanks to everyone for the replies. I believe that soon, I am going to change the battery and get a proper charger to get the new battery an adequate first charge/top off. I will certainly look at...
Ron, That is the answer for sure for a NEW battery. I didn’t know what it was labeled, (BS), but am familiar with the concept. Now, the problem I have is the Initial charge after filling the acid....
Thanks Ron, that is just what I am attempting to do. Just keep the battery at the “full” level while it is resting in the garage.
Star washers……Had not thought of that. If they are not present, I will pick some up for this project. Thanks for the suggestion!!

Exactly…….Just because it is a “New” battery, doesn’t mean it was “seasoned” and brought up to full capacity before installation. That is my concern about getting a new one. I will have to be very...
Personally, I go by the mfgr’s torque specs.
I have had car dealers tighten the plug so tight that I had to use an extended socket handle. Can’t trust those buggers.

Ok, 2021 S2S, new to me. It has a pig tail for a battery tender. I plugged it in and the tender just flashed with the red “charging” light. This went on for most of the day yesterday. I have...
If that had been me, there would have been an expense for a set of new “drawers”. Maybe even throw the Levis away and start anew too. Just sayin’…
BTW….I along with everyone else enjoy the...
My best wishes and prayers to you friend. I had a lobectomy 18 months ago for the same. Although the treatments are rough on the rest of the body, I think they are making loads of advances in...
Another “bump”
Here is today’s bump….. a nice pair for someone!!!!.
Here is a bump…
Ahhh… Ok. Now I get it. Thanks Peter.. I will go look those posts up.
What is a “water management system”. Like peeing in the trailer?
I agree with you 100%. That is exactly what I do with my helmet(s). My sweaty helmet is not a rich target. In fact, I haven’t locked the ignition on my HD RoadKing for the last 18 years. We went...
That is a thought for sure. It really boils down to 2 things.
1. Will we travel that much with the rig?
2. I just hate to separate a great matching pair.
Although, the '14 RT-622 trailer...
I bought this 2014 RT Limited and RT622 trailer as my entry into 3 wheel riding and the Can Am family.
Sadly, a neighbor had to sell his S2S and, my wife preferred the Highland green color. So,...
Now, let the games begin… Or should I say “Memories”?……Memories, that the ticket..
I have seen the 3 dashes before. And, when I do, I stop for fuel at the first opportunity and relatively soon after they appear. But, when I fill up, I have observed that the amount of fuel...
I learned that technique also. It is an instant giveaway if you see the wheel move, even a little bit. If I even see it roll a half turn,, I am ready with the brakes and horn.
Holy smokes….”Trip Tik”….I remember those handy little booklets. I would have guessed that they discontinued those years ago. I am happy that they still have those in their offerings..
Glad to hear you are OK. Hope the recovery goes well. Both the physical aspect as well as the mental. That stinks no matter what you say…
SP
Hey hey hey there now…….easy…….I may resemble that remark.. LMAO…:joke:
Is there a particular brand you use? I use a lot of Adam’s products and have seen that they have the Graphene system.
SP
Does anyone know which vendors will be there? I wonder if I will be able to get an alignment.
Thanks,
SP
Great thread……Several years ago, I sold my ‘13 Gold Wing and Hannigan trailer. Sadly I must say because the reliability of that machine was awesome. In fact there is one fella on a GW that frequents...
Like everyone else here…Glad you are OK…and the truck is OK…..But what I am REALLY glad for, is that you weren’t tangling with a bear on your Spyder…….That right there would have left a different...
