I sent another PM. Hopefully this one came through.

Having ridden both a BSA 441 Victor and a Triumph 650 Bonneville. I am not so concerned about a little vibration here or there.
A "Thumper" vibrating? Surely you jest, Sir!
It was weird- When I saw this ryde in the showroom all I could do was stand there and grin at it. After a 30 min ride I was grinning even more. Best yet my wife said go for it...just doesn't get much...
Our 2010 RT has been faithful but we have wanted to upgrade, so...meet Scoot3r II.

I just had it done on my 2010 RT. BRP covered total cost; the statement that the labor would be 5 to 6 hrs is pure smoke blowing. My tech had the job done in less than 2 hrs and did a spot-on job! I...
Last month I had a CHP motor pass me on the LA 605 Freeway (I was in the #1 lane; He was in the #2 lane) and as he came by he gave me "The Wave"! Reeeally cool!

WOW!! Really no explanation is needed. The picture explains why a full face shield (modular or for full helmet) is necessary- Thanks...
I had a similar experience with my 2010 RT. Turned out the plastic sheath covering the cable was cracking and not allowing the cable to slide freely. Replaced the cable and no problems since. Might...
Thanks to all for your responses. This is what makes this forum so great!
Chukka- Thanks for the info. I'll be heading to the auto store tomorrow to check out what they have on stock. Primary concern is the windscreen since Scoot3r is my primary out-of-town transportation...
I agree! I use GPS to get to hotels and Restaurant on I'm near my destination. But my Navigator and my road trips are pick a direction not destination and it's nice spreading out a map on the hotel...
NO KIDDING BOB! That was within the first 2 miles. Be assured I remembered and the next 21 was with the tank locked in. P.S. 70 mph gusts IMHO are not an annoyance- they're downright bothersome!
After hosing and washing Scoot3r the entire front is covered with small sand pits (no surprises there is there?) Fortunately there are no deep pits or chips. The windscreen is the most notable. So My...
I was caught in high winds and blowing sand riding home from a small mining town where I was spending the day teaching at the high school. We were expecting high wind (20-25 mph) in the afternoon...
Spot on! I saved the article, like many of Zen Motorcyclist's articles. He knows the soul of us who ride.
Far Out!
Hope they were all good
From Zen Motorcyclist on our riding brotherhood and sisterhood. I really needed to read this during period of constant turmoil out of our capital:
"We [motorcyclists] tend to lean toward the good,...
.
I really like the way your mind works!!!
My DPS went out last fall; other than a little stiffer at low speeds no problem continuing to ride. I continued riding for about another two months and was able to get to the point of not even seeing...

Absolutely spot-on Bob!! I really get the paranoids after me when I'm stopped at intersections; I will often try to stay/move into the right lane so I can pitch-out into the bike lane, or around the...
I can't even imagine!
General Altimax RT 43, 215/60 R 15 for me too. Price and performance rating fit my riding needs. 9,000 miles and still looking good at 26 psi.
Love it
I've been wanting an anthem- It works for me. P.S. Everybody needs an anthem!
Who says we can't look baaaad at 70? My daughter and son-in-law gave me the dew rag and bandana as a gag Christmas stocking stuffer; said now I can look like a "real biker". Now, if I can get my RT...
What a wonderful last ryde. Most sorry for your loss, and thank you so much for sharing.
Jim
Thanks Bob! Now, how do I get that image unburned/outa my brain??
