If we get a n MP3 it will be used mostly for city and commuting to and from work. I don't see us touring on it but it seems capable of that if you wanted. I will have to research it further and make...
Well i have about convinced myslef that I am gonna sell my Spyder heres a list of reasons why. I want to say that the machine has never failed me and is runnign well. I put 6700 miles on it in less...
at nigth after you start the bike if you turn the handle bars do the lights dim?? Thats a reasonable indication that it is working. Working correctly may be a different story but clearly there is a...
welcome phantom owner!!
Thats ridiculous.. they also make some pretty serious claims and some that well are false IE "will wear longer - much longer - than commodity grade vinyl or even high quality leather" I cant speak...
I follow you...its sensor alignment not the actual alignment..
whiel I agree that having a good realtionship with a dealer can affect the work they do on you spyder what I disagree with is that it dictates how quickly and well they are done. So I am to expect...
what "part" is it??
explain how having the riser installed affects alignment? I mean i can understand if the handle bars are askew... but it should have no affect on alignement of the wheels
It sounds like you may have some kind of problem for sure with the engine fighting the brakes, but i will tell you that my experience with my bike is that it is not suited well at all for stop and go...
I changed mine to the honda gasket at 6000 miles but I will tell you that teh BRP gasket was still in pretty good shape. That being said the Honda one was clearly a better made product.
K>>>>>>S>>>>>>U>>>>>>>WILDCATS!
It will depend on a lot of things including your driving habits, temps in your area etc etc My dad has a truck that is 8 years old and has the original battery in it. its become a fun thing for him...
Theres a lot of info on here about oil. I will tell you that the orginal part numebr for oil for our spyders was a full sythetic. They chanegd to a blend most people think to try and save THEMSLEVES...

That looks like a Harley floor board. Much like th eones I had on my Road King. If this is 400 for the boards mounting kit and shifters that is a bargain comapred to what others want just for...
I just did the 6000 mile service myself and did not take it in to have the valves checked. I may at 20-24k miles especially if the bike becomes hard to start or turn over etc. I am not sure what that...
Ive done my share of complaining but I do really love the spyder. i ride it more frequently than ANY bike I ever owned and it is more practical and useful to boot. its safer, attention grabbing and a...
shine a light down in there it makes it easier to see then and it should be between the min and max.
While I accept what the spyder gets as okay I certainly wish it got more. A piaggio mp3 with a 500 cc motor gets 55 mpg. Its three wheeled and while not as a big in size both physhical and motor wise...
18000 sounds like a lot. I got mine last aug for 14,500. I would think if you could find one still 14,500 would still be a pretty good deal. If not you can get the phantom kit but of course to be...
do all the parts then need to be made by union only shops cause I guarantee you 100% that there are dozens of parts on this bike NOT made in union shops...ie China
glad you are well and thanks for sharing. I travel at night a lot and in areas where there are a lot of deer. I am encouraged to say the least about your experince and you are right a hit on two...

what are their concerns?? i understand there is a chance that it may lean the bike some which can be an issue when combined with other things like a free flowing air filter etc. I have seen ceramic...
Yes valves are suppsoed to be checked at 6000 miles however the consensus on this board is that unless you are having problems starting yours this is overkill and most likely not necessary however...
