Why not simply use the paddle shifters on the left bar to shift manually, Postleg? It would be a cheaper, easier option. (Don’t forget your one and only brake pedal is already on the right)
Pete
Very clever, Norwegian, great solution.:2thumbs:
Pete
It basically boils down to - if you can afford the extra $4k, get the S2S. If you can’t, get the base RT.
As you said, you then have the option to remove the top box in a couple of minutes if you...
I believe KW1M was simply confirming Fatboy’s comment, based on discussions with the supplier, Jdr. Sometimes members can get it wrong, so confirmation never hurts ;)

No, the mods won’t do that, Allen. Apart from affecting FB algorithms, there is a lot of useful info in here that someone may be looking for via a search at a later date. It is here to stay.;)

Oldguy, just by way of update, there is a lot that can be gleaned from FB, and you don’t need to post anything about yourself unless you wish to (I don’t). You can also lock your FB profile, which...
Similar to BoatFixx, I wash mine the regular way before putting a Meguiars ceramic coat on it, then use a Meguiars ceramic waterless on it until it is time to re coat in say 6 months. (Unless the RT...
Exactly what I was going to post, Ron. I use both. Which format do I prefer, as per your original question? This forum, for the reasons mentioned earlier. There’s no bias in the original question.

The FB site is full of riders asking questions on how to add speakers to get another 30 db of output, or how to add under glow lights etc etc……not that there is anything wrong with this, but there...
Yes, unfortunately, Lamont’s first new liver ended up having bile duct issues which, to quote Lamont, “were slowly killing him”. That’s how he ended up in hospital recently with a very, very serious...
He’s home, with nurse Joan providing first class, attentive care with his antibiotics etc, and still waiting for the call that they have a new liver for him, Ron.

Yes, I do pretty much the same, Vito…..1 - 2 psi over. That system works well for me, too.

Having ridden both the ‘21+ RT and the F3-L long distances, Two2Three, I can say first hand that there is no difference in “tiredness” levels. They both do it well. You really don’t have your feet...
Stretching out tends to be done on the freeway, or a long straight road, so there is no need to grip the tank with your knees in that situation, Jaybros. It’s a short term thing just to give your...
Mike, Two2Three has answered your questions perfectly, but I am just curious. Why do you want to use Rever for turn by turn directions when that functionality is already built in to the XT?
Pete
We haven’t heard from New2Spyder since his very first post, either as a follow up post, or a like or thanks tick. I wonder what happened to him?
Oh, and TroubledJuan, re your comment about not...
Great to hear you and Marzy survived that encounter, Stephan……yep, there are certainly some drivers out there who should never be allowed to drive :lecturef_smilie:
Pete
Hahahaha……onya Ron.:roflblack:
Pete
Vito, if you believe your RT is taking the curves just fine, leave it as it. Yes, the ‘21+ RT models are more stable than the earlier RT models, and go quite well without Ron’s bar.
I put one on...
I agree completely, Peter. I was not bagging the responder for replying to an old thread as, like you, I believe there is often additional relevant info to be gained from doing that. :2thumbs:
Pete
I know that I have responded to old threads in the past (it is very easy to do the first time), but I’m wondering if 13 years since the previous post is worthy of some kind of record :2thumbs:...
There’s a YouTube video on how to find the “tabs” as part of removing the rear ‘20+ seat, Juan? It must be well hidden, as I’ve never seen it. (It’s locating and operating the tabs that stumps...
Yes, it is this gradual dumbing down of BRP customer service for apparently pig headed reasons that is driving the nail deeper into the Spyder coffin for me. BRP shut down my nearest dealer 2 years...
Unfortunately, so many people want to “see their name up in lights”, Chris, and take threads (and FB questions), down ratholes for that reason. :gaah:. Sometimes it is accidental, but most...
Ahhhhhh, but then you run the risk of hitting one of our mobile speed humps, Mikey. Hitting a wombat is like hitting a 2’ tall, solid concrete, speed hump. There is not much left of your front end,...
One of the great memes of all time, 3Tyme:roflblack:
Pete
“More dangerous”, 3Tyme? Both the snake and the redback can kill you, so they are both “dangerously venomous”. We Aussies try to avoid being bitten by either of them ;):2thumbs: …….and it’s easier to...
I’d say it relates to the very first line of the original post, Mike…..an opinion of the KR20 on the rear. ;)
Pete
What type of “improvement”, Chris?…..performance? longevity?
Out here in Oz, they work pretty well. The local service guy recommends the Kanine, and is seeing around 25-30,000km out of them....
