Good to know, in case I can't find it!
Thanks for your help, everyone. This site IS great!
Ok, the box of Garmin and ram mount stuff? Hmmm, wonder what I did with that? I've had this for a year and never wanted/needed to take the saddlebags off before, but we're trying to squeeze it and...
Thank you, it helps to know what I'm looking for - now if I could just find it. I can't blame it on the previous owner because there wasn't one, but maybe I can blame it on the dealer!
I have a 2013 ST-LTD, and apparently there's a tool - wrench - key, something, for tightening/removing the saddle bag brackets. I don't know what I'm looking for, but I don't see anything in the...
I've been gone from here for a long time - since the same craziness over the dps on the 2008s, and I see that people still feel very passionately on all sides of the issue.
For the record, I was a...
Great video, Seth! I did a few "Try the Track" days on my first Spyder, and had a blast. It was a great way to learn to avoid the nanny - the better I got at the line, the less the nanny kicked in....
I got one from qwikshade.com, but the website is gone. :dontknow:
I spent many years as a passenger on many types of motorcycles, and so I just need to point out that putting your passenger's head above and behind yours will most likely put their head in the path...
We do track days (in cars) with this group http://www.findtheline.com, and he told me that it could be possible to put in a Spyder group, if we could get a few people lined up. Not racing, just...
We've been using the Scala G4 all summer, and it has good points and bad. The sound between the headsets is extremely good, but is definitely "line of sight". We haven't had much luck with the...
The CanAm Spyder facebook page chose my picture for their profile picture this week!

Good to know - we're going to be in SF next month & we were just saying that we should rent an RT and do a little riding while we are there.
Goes fast, and won't fall down!

Last weekend after a ride through the Loess Hills in Iowa. This was a flooded parking lot at DeSoto Bend National Wildlife...
Reminds me of the time my former father-in-law was pulling a boat behind a pickup truck with a camper in the back, and got halfway across Missouri before he realized his boat & trailer were gone....
I had to pick up Grumpy on the spyder today, and he refused to ride on the back :dontknow:, so I rode on the back of my own spyder for the first time - very weird.
And I was a little critical...
Well, I finally saw a white RS-S at our local shop, and it wasn't ugly, but it was already sold.
Then he told me they've got another one on the way (apparently on the truck on the way), so that...
It's on Speed Test Ride (not Speed Test Drive) on Saturday evening.
Yesterday we were headed home from Arkansas and saw a blue RT headed south out of Kansas City (I think we were on 70). Mine was in the trailer.
Two questions that I got today:
"Is it squirrelly?" :dontknow:
and
"Where you from - Mars?" :roflblack:
I travel a little section of I-80 everyday, and the State Patrol double-team it to catch people who don't move over. When one has someone pulled over for speeding, there will be another one just a...
Scotty's right (as always!) - you need to at least talk to your dealer about it. It won't fix itself.
Here's our White GSD. She thinks she's part polar bear.

We also have two cats who let us live with them.

I finally got mine out for a ride today. It was great! :2thumbs:
About 90 miles.

I've got the charger on mine - supposed to be 65 on Thursday and they put new rock on our road today (no more mud ) - so I'm taking the day off work on Thursday to ride.
Very cool!! :2thumbs:
I have a warped perception of "clean" because I live on a gravel road (currently muck road), but it sure stays alot cleaner than our black S2000. It doesn't show the dust near as bad.
I like those panels a lot, and waiting to see it on your Spyder.
I've been thinking of painting mine to match my Acura, which is white diamond pearl, also a tri-coat. Looks very similar...
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't catch me even walking on that trail. I got a little vertigo just watching it.
