Most of what you wrote makes a lot more sense now.
What you call the hydraulic control module filter...is what I think I called the second filter. I called it a transmission...

It does seem to downshift ok with the nanny..I also noticed the ck transmission comes on a lot after manual downshift, but not all the time

2010 rs se5 hasn't been on the road since 2014. Bought from a dealer who only sells totaled by insurance.

Ok. So I fixed a bunch of issues. Changed the oil and when cked warm it was right on...

Jury is still out on if it's a deal.. I will say I've wanted a spyder for a long time.. now I have one, so either way after this is all done.. I'm still happy

I just did my first oil change on my 2010 rs se5 yesterday. I didn't jack it up but I did cus the hell out if the previous owner after bending 2 Allen wrenches trying to take out the drain plugs. ...

Born and raised in buffalo. Ny. spent 10 yrs in Alaska. I may not like living in bakersfield ca. I do miss snow, but I don't miss when winter just doesn't go away

Yup. The trans filter wasn't upgraded.

Changed oil. Topped off coolant and test drive. No warning lights in 10 miles. Now I have to get it brake and light inspected. Than licensed
