Dead forum walking.
Thank You.
Spyder Codes App on google?
I know when I'm out gunned.
Bye.
Having an opinion that doesn't include worship of BRP and Lamont's view is not in keeping with this website.
Alright, I happen to know more about Spyders...
So I love Blue.
And Lamont's view is absolutley correct.
I can hardly wait until they change the color of the display.
Maybe back to blue.
Won't that be cool and cutting edge?
\\
Okay, gosh BRP is great and everything they do is great
Got it.
That's what this website is all about.
so what do you see as the great improvement ?
I guess the new blue never offered before?
Sorry but they haven't offered any tangible improvement, you can make as many excuses as you want.
well alright.
Then you excuse a mediocre product line because they need time to regroup?
sorry but when they ask for 30K of my money they had better deserve it.
And they don't.
Gosh isn't great?
Wow blue that's NEVER been offered before.
OKAY,so what is the joke?
It's pretty clear to me that BRP has no idea what they are building for who.
I guess that people who claim that the lineup answers all the needs and represents some kind of coherent marketing...
When a company who is supposed to be tech-innovative lists "blue has never been available in the 1330 before" (or something like that) it's time to say that more than likely their tech innovator...
I guess sometimes evolution produces less than spectacular results.
yawn
A five year old RV (let's face it the Spyder isn't as much of a motorcycle as it is an RV) requires attention before it gets crispy around the the edges.
I recently purchased a used RT myself, got...
A typo
I calculate it as 11.4V (a nominal 12V minus a 0.6 V diode drop which is standard for LSI modules, but I won't defend it any further.
You may want to check the connector that connects the rear luggage compartment with the rest of the Spyder.
It's a large connector located under the frame (I think)
Short answer is the settings are not pressure driven.
The system reads the height. This method makes the rider and passenger weight immaterial.
I would just find a pressure that gave a smooth ride...
Okay I have to say UNCLE on the ground thing.
Have you tried replugging the relays in your fusebox?
Here's why I still believe probably have a ground problem.
I realize there could be wide variations in voltmeter accuracy or even how you report the voltages, but having said that here's my take....
Here's something to try.
1. Connect one jumper cable end (use black for example) to the Negative Post of the battery
2. Connect other end (other black end) to some point on the frame like the...
A constantly rebooting display module can't be a good thing for longevity. Yours or your Spyder's.
I still believe you have a bad/disconnected ground.
Since you replaced the battery it was logical to assume it was there but it could be anywhere.
You have flakey ground.
Look for a ring connector left off the negative terminal of the battery
The standard BRP warranty on the 2012 was two years.
Assuming it was purchased in 2012 then the vehicle is out of standard warranty.
The ultra extended warranty is between the warranty holder and...
Are you absolutely certain your dealer didn't replace your old analog fuel gauge with the new & improved stepper motor version?
They look identical.
If your windshield motor still works it could be the switch or more likely the socket the switch sets in could be loose.
The switch you push for frunk release is in a socket buried in the tupperware.
If it is not the fuse or relay then the next place to look is to make sure the switch is seated firmly in the socket.
There is a microswitch on the latch mechanism that informs the system when the frunk is closed.
If the microswitch isn't properly aligned or is broken the solenoid won't fire to open the frunk.
The level sensors can also stick.
You have to make certain each white float is free and able to return to the topped off position.
The RT (and maybe other models) have a very fiddley level sensors.
I think prior to 2014 such an error would have sent you into Limp Home Mode Heaven
