They have been very cool about it. I called the service manager after noticing it. He asked me to email photos. Apparently the mechanic didn't realize he had scratched it (it isn't huge; the photo...
Excellent video...very helpful.
Dumb question time: Is it safe to assume this is for a device hard wired in the trunk, and not bluetooth?
Dumb question #2: With a Sena SMH10 playing music...
Laws? We don't need no steeenking laws! This is Arizona....the wild west.....isn't your six shooter the law? ;)
That is awesome.
You just know some good 'ol boy is going to report a UFO sighting when he sees that bike while driving around at night after his first 6-pack.
I can definitely see economies...
Still haven't been on a long ride since the recall work....pretty toasty in Arizona to ride other than early morning right now!
The good news is that the dealer thus far sounds like they are...
I just had the recall work on my 2013 RTS completed at RideNow Powersports in Tucson yesterday. Mine is the 2nd recall they have completed so far. It sounds like the first one may have taken 8...
I am a relatively new transplant to Tucson and took my first trip up to Mt Lemmon on Saturday, May 23 in the early afternoon. I saw several Spyders on the way up and the way down. Nice to see so...
Just spoke to RideNow Powersports in Tucson to order recall parts and schedule the work. They expect to have parts next week. Good thing, as it appears we will be hitting triple digits this...
Finless, as one who spent most of his life in CA, AND has driven the Dragon on multiple occasions, a couple of thoughts:
1) You are absolutely correct, that the the mountains out west are bigger...
Love the Dragon!
I have driven the Dragon many times in my old Honda S2000.....that is 4 wide tires on a low-profile extremely well weight-balanced vehicle, so my experience will be different than...
I bought my Spyder with the primary purpose of commuting to work. I have a daily 30 mile trip each way and wanted to be able to use the HOV lane. I went with the Spyder primarily due to its size...
If you want to be in a town with motels and restaurants, Maryville, TN is relatively close Knoxville isn't much further. High speed run down Foothills Parkway places you right at the west end of...
Coming up on my first 4,600 mile service. Is the schedule calling for 4,600 on the odometer, or 5,200 (4,600 after the initial 600 service? I would presume the former, but thought I would make an...
So what you are saying is that my chestnuts won't be roasted on every ride?? :ohyea:
Happy customer squared away in Mesa this morning. Installed BajaRon's swaybar last weekend, and with laser alignment it is handling oh so well! Props to Joe and Ann!
I thought I read somewhere that the new smoothspyder tensioner also doubles as a belt guard, and there may not be room for a spyderpops belt guard using the new tensioner. Faulty memory or accurate?
So with a '13 RTS (with the fog lights), it is going to be an involved project to replace the horn? I wouldn't mind more volume to get peoples' attention, but I am also uncertain if I want to take...
Out of curiosity, have you had poor service at ridenow chandler? I haven't yet, but i will happily make it known if I do. Only shop I have spyder service experience with to date. So far so good.
So Ron, you are telling me that the 2013 is the only RT so far on which it is a PITA to install your sway bar? Just my luck! Oh we'll, it is done. Love the much firmer feel of the steering!
Ridenow in Chandler has a good service department. They are not inexpensive and they are usually booked out 1.5/2 weeks for Spyder service.
Is it cold where you folks are at?? It has been quite pleasant all winter here. :ohyea:
Then again, my summer may be enough to melt the rubber off the wheels......
I have been in Gilbert for the last six years. Great area, just a bit south of where you are looking. What would you like to know? I have access to the MLS if you need any searches.
I have seen these arguments regarding K&N for years as it relates to autos. I have never used a K&N OEM replacement. I did, however, use a K&N FIPK on a '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee for years. I...
The bumpskid actually was a pretty quick install. I spent more time on the swaybar. And Ann, yes, it was a bit discomforting jacking the front end way up, then having the bike move around a bit...
Nice! Maybe I can build a double decker version for my two golden retrievers?? :yikes:
I purchased my Spyder as a daily commuter vehicle to enable me to use the HOV lane on my daily commute to work of 30 miles each way. The Spyder has performed admirably in this task, and I have the...
Upon further review, if I had read the statement in red ink ABOVE the photo instructions before digging in, I would have seen the clear instructions to remove the existing skid plate. D'oh! I hate...
Thank you!
Getting ready to tackle the install of the BajaRon swaybar and SpyderPops BumpSkid. Perhaps it will become obvious once I get into the project, but looking at the instructions that come with the...
