You have to ask why BRP would sell something with a 2 year warranty in U.K. if they fail in just a few hundred miles. Must be costing them a fortune in belt replacement. Sounds a bit like sour...

I know they don’t programme the new one they fit. Lord knows why not, every other manufacturer seems to be able to. I will show the staining to my dealer when it has its first service as I know BRP...
I’ve run my RT through the winter mainly on just short trips. I now have some misting in the dash in front of the speedo and the tacko. I know BRP will change the unit under warranty but is it...
so do you believe the GPS in the bike has maps in it and could be used to find a destination by itself or does it rely on a smart phone for everything. If it is a proper GPS things like map and...
I understand they come out the crate like that. Something to do with the switchover to the 1330. Stopped mine moving with two small bits of Velcro. By the way it's your left foot.
That is something else. Well done.
Leaving a battery permanently on a tender can also lead to a premature death. And I'm quite aware the makers of the tenders will tell you you can. I don't ride in the dead of winter but never plug...
Try removing the battery wait a couple of minutes then reinstall. Normally gets rid of bugs.
i have just done that. I have the dongle but it's hard work and doesn't work all the time. In addition the volume isn't great. Only difference for me is.
Garmin 590 loaded with my music. Phone...
After 25 years on BMW bikes I have a mountain of clothing most of it BMW, all armoured and quite heavy but comfortable. I also decided that none of it was suited for my Spyder. But I now have a...
Here's one seen in Cornwall UK last week. Still ugly.
Continuing my saga with my cantankerous SM10 in a recent conversation on UKSPYDERWEB I have been told the latest update for Sena headsets, in my case the 10S, allows music sharing and phone call...
Thsts great. Thanks very much fir your help. I will do just that.
Think it must all be on Facebook, their webpage is dead.
This us will take some believing. Just been to UKSPYDERWEB as I did register there before I bought. How many on line? Just me. Think I'll stay here.
Your not wrong there. A few years ago we rode from Hamlin (Pied Piper and all that) in Germany to Nottingham in 12 hours . The mileage was 720 on a BMW RT with a good lot of German autobahns ...
I am suitable humbled,
Wont try that then. I suspect though that over here in the old world finding car tyres to fit the back would be difficult. Hopefully that's some time away though.
After only 1000 miles in the saddle I still find the handling of my RT interesting. There is much talk here of reducing tyre pressures to improve the handling. As I obviously have Kendra fitted is...
No no not me. Rigsby joined a couple of days ago and has now vanished into his garage to build his lift. I have only come across one other in UK but there must be more. Spyders are a rare site on...
It would be nice to know how many forum members are my side of the pond. Is there any way of telling?
Now I'm very new here but. 900 miles in a day. So 24 hrs, allow 4 of them for comfort and food stops, the average is 45mph. Amazing. How's he managed that!!!
I'm in the same boat. 1000 miles on the clock and expect to do another 1000 before going on a 2000 mile tour. I spoke to my dealer who said no worries but don't go too far over the 4000 mark.
Told you so. If you fancy setting yourself a small goal and meeting up with a couple more Spyders have a look at Pidcock.com and look at their tours. The one next May to Boppard has two of them...
And I suspect as you look out this morning it's raining and you haven't yet got any gear. That's life with a bike I'm afraid. Would be nice to know where you are in UK. You might just be providing...
I have a mountain of bike clothing and to be honest most of it is too bulky or over armoured forbthe Spyder. Don't go for full length bike boots , too hot . Same with jackets and trousers,...
Welcome fellow UK member. I'm also new, got mine last month. I have come from 2 wheels which apparently the less easy way into Spyder riding. Getting any accessories for them over here is much...
In fact, until someone mentioned it here in one of the threads, I didn't notice it at all.Thats done it, neither had I until NOW. Might help me forget about the clunk though.
I would allow it to warm up then even pull in the clutch and count to 5 (sometimes 3) and it would clunk ..!
Pull in the clutch (lever). Now that's a blast from the past. Don't want one of them...
Hope I haven't started a war. I promise just to bang it in and zoom off.
