Oh, one thing about painting the front fenders.....the orange side reflectors are IMHO impossible to remove safely for reuse. You could consider this an opportunity to buy the LED fender side markers...

I painted the fenders, side panels, and this last winter the rear fender of my Silver Spyder. If you have the right "touch" to paint yourself, it is a world cheaper than replacing the panels.
