What a great company, range of Spyder specific accessories and superb people. They have a real
grasp on how to treat customers. Rode the Spyder back yesterday afternoon and all is well. Since my purchase of the RT in late August, everyone I have met with the Spyder program has been very professional and helpful. Hand brake kit and the flag holders are indeed top notch additions to The Big Red Bug. The flag holders are mounted behind the license plate and are very sturdy. If I could convince my wife to go back to work, I'd be ordering front shocks today.
Gotta take a nap - had a tooth pulled today and I'm about asleep at the keyboard after I took a pain pill.

Looking for a safe NON-OBTRUSIVE flag and holder for RT-S
I am wanting to ride and fly the American Flag but have looked at the varying types of mounts, holders, etc., I am VERY much concerned about what ever I choose that it does NOT interfere with any warning lights, tailights, brake lights, 3rd brake light, turn signals, etc,. on the Spyder RTS.
We all have enough problems with people rear-ending bikes of all types and having something back there stopping what we have already done to our units to hopefully protect our rear's even more---don't need it hampered by flags.
Is there something you all have on your Spyders (RT-S) that is good and does NOT interfere with the above when riding etc.,
Thanks!
Only in one's own Country
Right you are, but remember when visiting another country, the country's flag is to the right (and higher, if possible) than our own. So when visiting the USA I would have the Canadian Flag on the left and USA Flag on the right. When I cross the border they get flipped back.
Of course those from the USA would/should do the same when entering Canada, Mexico etc.
