I've read in this forum that I could replace the pins and circlips of the screen supports of my 2011 RT for those of the model of 2012.
Does anyone know the references?
I've found these but I'm not sure.
22 - 1 x 705005974 Retainer Pin (Long)
23 - 2 x 705005973 Retainer Pin (Shorts)
24 - 6 x 250000565 Hexalob Screw M4x10
Do you know why the retainer pins 705005973 are five times more expensive than the long one?

Why ... ?? but regardless, if you go to cheapcycleparts.com you can get all you need OEM cheaper and they will have them in stock to change them. :dontknow: Have no clue why the cost difference....

Do you know a friend that has a lathe. You should be able to trim the length of the pins down and have them drilled and tapped. You should be able to find screws at a hardware store.
Sorry to say if you feel that 34 cents is too much. How much you think the windshield you are protecting?
Sorry about the price, but even for $34 it may be worth it.
Fitting my replacement arm will lessen that lateral movement and you may not need to do any thing else.
I suggest you install the arm first and then see if you need to replace the bushes in the outside two arms.
Note: you will need to reinstall the two bushes on the center arm.
