I’m out getting the homestead ready for tonight’s ice storm that they are calling for.:yikes:
RapidSpyder, is that a different Rapid City? This was in my wx history "Posted: Apr 13, 2018 7:40 AM CDT Courtesy: SD DOT - Rapid City, SD South Dakota officials closed Interstate 90 from Murdo to Mitchell at 2:30 p.m. I-90 is now closed from Rapid City to Mitchell, both east and westbound."
Or has it already re-opened as of Apr 14th, It's still wicked here in Southern MN.

Just finished blow'in 12" of snow from the driveway here and we are supposed to get another 10" by tomorrow. Winter SUCKS! Mac:banghead:

15 miles north of Mpls/St Paul and we have probably got close to a foot so far. Good day to stay in sweats . Leo's is having their open house today. They may sell more snowmobiles than bikes.

But I am enjoying Sturgis pics here on the forum been there twice and the pics I'm seeing tell me I have a great deal more investigating to do still looking to buy an enclosed camping trailer for our next trip
I remember seeing a really nice camping trailer in the 4 Sale and WTB section
a few hours ago what a great setup
Same crap here. Pounded the house loud enough to wake us up last night. Rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain....we're gettin' it all this weekend. Weather guessers are saying 3-6" of snow for tomorrow....Not a 50* day in sight til at least next weekend. Somebody pissed in Mother Nature's Wheaties, and she's gettin' even.:gaah:
Looks like Wisconsin is Ground Zero for this blizzard. Hardly any snow all winter and now this. Pretty much "snowed in" both Saturday and Sunday. Most churches have cancelled services and most retail is closed.Monday morning should be interesting when we all go back to work.
Here's the irony, on Friday I fired up the Spyder from her Winter Hibernation anticipating a ride in the next few days. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
Well... at least you’ll have it ready for when the snow does melt...
Mother Nature is a nasty witch, with a wicked sense of humor! :gaah:
Yesterday: it got up to 68 degrees here. I took off for a 40 mile ride, once the yard work was done!
Today: it's looking ugly; the rest of the week looks no better!
Sitting here in my recliner with the wife in hers, drinking coffee, staring out the window, looking at 16" more snow:banghead:! Got to wait until the wind quits howling so I can plan my strategy on how I'm going to crawl thru the snow drift on our porch to get to the shop to get the blower out AGAIN! WINTER REALLY SUCKS IN APRIL!! Mac:yikes:
Day two of what would normally be a great riding weekend here in MN, and they're predicting another 5 inches.....
