hi, have a spyder f3. I installed the shark 1400 watt stereo. I hooked it up to my battery because that's what the instructions say to do, but know my battery seems be be draining. can some one tell me a better way to hook this stereo up?

I hooked up a Boss to my F3S and didn't like the idea of having the amp on all the time so I installed a neat on/off switch into the removable cover on the left. It lights up blue and almost looks identical to the switch for the heated grips. No battery drain with it off. Here is the link:Quote:

We hooked into the gps plug (lower right side), and ran to a relay from the battery. There is a thread on this method on here somewhere.
